About this property
The Tin House - One Bedroom House, Sleeps 2
Beautifully reimagined throughout, this cosy hideaway makes a cheerful base for couples eager to explore the southern reaches of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and a stunning stretch of Cardigan Bay. The property sits in an elevated spot above the peaceful village of Llwyngwril, which has a rocky beach and a welcoming pub. The bustling seaside town of Tywyn lies to the south (9 miles), home to the Talyllyn Railway and the Tywyn Magic Lantern Cinema. A little further along the coast is Aberdyfi (12.5 miles), a popular spot for water sports and golf, with a host of great restaurants, shops and galleries. Heading inland, this magnificent corner of Eryri offers miles of breathtaking walks, with popular destinations including Castell y Bere, and Dolgoch Falls (both within 11 miles).
Entering this unique hideaway, the rustic-style kitchen/diner has been fully equipped, with a central wood burner and country-style dining table, providing an ideal spot for a romantic meal after a fantastic day out. A couple of steps lead up and into the airy lounge with a Smart TV, comfortable seating and light streaming in through the skylights in the vaulted ceiling. Just off the kitchen is an invigorating wet room with a shower and WC, and the accommodation is rounded off by a fresh and tastefully decorated double bedroom with sea glimpses.
Stepping outside, the multi-level garden has slate paths and steps leading up to viewing areas offering glorious vistas towards the sea, with chances to spot an array of local wildlife. The top level of the garden has a table and chairs, making a perfect spot for a BBQ as you take in the views. There is a handy locking anchor in the garden for guests bringing bikes, and free parking is available (subject to availability) in the public car park 0.1 mile from the property.
