8/10 Good

This property is nicely located across the river from the old city of Toledo. It is easy walking distance to everything, but the house is on a hill, so be prepared to walk up and down a pretty steep hill (unless you intend to drive into the old city and around town.) Parking is free right in front of the house and always available. The house is clean and a little sterile. The couch is comfortable, the dining table is good and the kitchen has everything you need. The upper deck out back is a lovely spot to see the city in the evening or the morning with comfortable patio couch and chair. Everything worked well. The only criticism is that the lighting is overhead only and very bright with no lamps by the bedside or in the living room. The double bed in the main bedroom is a true double, not a queen and the pillows are king size which is a little hard to manage. There are nice bunk beds for kids in a separate room and a futon in between the two rooms. We loved the location, the deck and the proximity to the central town. The walls could use some art work to make the place a little more personable/warm/inviting, but as a place to stay, everything worked well. Jessica was a terrific assistance helping us easily.
