The apartment, called Lochview, is located in a rather bleak neighborhood. While the name suggests a direct view, you actually have to look over large apartment blocks before you can see the loch. Furthermore, the interior was completely soulless and lacking in atmosphere. Although the place was new and clean, the overall value for money was simply not worth it.”

Newly renovated apartment, well kitted out in the kitchen with dishwasher, coffee tasimo machine and washing machine. Nice living room to relax in and decent bedrooms, beds and storage. Bathroom newly refurbished with electric shower. Was clean and welcoming when arrived. Location is great to walk into town (12mins). Plenty of parking across the road. Communication was good and easy to check in/out. Stayed here for 3 nights to climb Ben Nevis and some other walks. If you planning of doing similar then the 7 flights of stairs won’t be an issue, however I highlight just in case this isn’t for you. The height provides great views across the lake though.

The place was very clean and we appreciated the washing machine although we had to provide our own laundry soap. The view really is great. I wish we had realized it was up 7 flights of stairs which can be a bit of a challenge with heavy luggage or if you're not accustomed to that many stairs. Parking was close right across the street. We did have to drive into town for restaurants and we ate at some really great places, like The Highland Coo...k and The Geographer. Overall a great stay!
