We had a very enoyable stay at the house, and Ernest was helpful, The view is as stunning as the pictures show, and a star feature; many a relaxing hour spent on the balcony! The rooms are are as shown in the advert, with a relaxing lounge, well equipped kitchen, modern bathrooon and bedrooms; the second bedroom would benefit from some improvement to the beds. Ernest was helpful, so be sure to ask if lacking anything (e.g. some kitchen utensils or kit) and he is keen to improve facilities for guests. There is some nice walking direct from the house, with gentler walks through the woods, or hikes up the hill to the rear.Be aware that is a long drive from the main road (15 minutes or so) with many bends, but we had no difficulties and the traffic is light. The effort is well rewarded by the comfort of the house and its beautiful view.

This is an excellent location with a fantastic view of Lake Como, with fresh air in a green environment and a very pleasant temperature of 23–25C during the day. You can have your breakfast or a barbecue dinner on the balcony.While my friends staying at a resort on the lake shore suffered from the terrible heat, we could sleep with the windows open without air conditioning at temperatures of 18–20C.The apartment is spacious, bright, and fully equipped as described.It is about 15-20 minutes far from the lake and also suitable as starting point for different trips for site seeing or if you just want take some bath, you choose a nearby beach. The host was very friendly, spoke many languages, and was helpful with practical advices.We will return for a longer stay as the region has many site seeings locations we did not visit yet.
