Overall the property was clean and well maintained and very comfortable. Adequate supplies (towels, dishes, etc.). We struggled at first with the oven/micro combo (instructions were in Dutch and this kind of combo unit was not familiar to us.). Property host Peter came by early in our stay to make some minor repairs and explain the oven settings. We really appreciated the on-site laundry and bedroom air conditioning. Location was great, though like much of the island right now, surrounded by construction. 2 things to mention that were not deal breakers for us, but could be factors worth mentioning for others. 1) there is a blindingly bright flashing billboard that overlooks the backyard. Not noticeable in the daytime, but can get a bit annoying in the evening. 2) due to the way the house/neighbourhood is designed - with 3 walls of sliding glass doors to help the breezes flow through, there is no privacy. You get used to it, but it was a little strange at first. We were only 2 and the house was the perfect size for us, but would have still been comfortable for 2 more.
