Nice house with a big garden

The house is charming and equipped with everything useful. The garden is big and wonderful for dogs. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. You can reach Calais and Boulogne sur mer in less than half an hour. The owners are friendly and helpful. For us a perfect place to spend some relaxing holidays with the family.

Lovely rural setting, but still very close to Calais

We had a lovely week and were made to feel very welcome by the owner. The house has everything you would expect, as well as a large garden. The area is very scenic and has rolling hills and woodlands with lots of walks. Licques is only a km or so down the road, and has a supermarket and other shops. Calais is only about 20 to 30 minutes away, and Boulogne and St Omer are within easy reach. The house itself is in a small village, and isn't isolated as such, but still very rural and very much feels like you have got away from it all. M, thank you for a really nice week!

Cleanliness a real issue. Poor quality old bed linen, very poor sofa, not at all comfortable. The place needs some tlc and a really good clean, could be really nice if it were better organised and sorted.

Thank for your comment. I am sorry that our country house didn't suit you totally. We take great care in welcoming our guests. The holiday house is totally cleaned before any arrival. I will take care more. As far as the bed linen are concerned, they are normally to rent them before the arrival in order to prepare them. It's important to say it before coming. I gave you for free "emergency" bedlinen and towels. I hope that you will still keep a good memory of your stay with your two nice dogs. That's our aim. Best regards, Marie-Line

Sehr ruhig gelegen, super Garten
