Very quiet location at the end of a steep hill. The villa is actually 1/2 of a duplex, but was still very quiet and private. The stonework is beautiful and the view is amazing.The villa has a private driveway (shared with the adjoining villa) with a secure electronic gate. Covered parking (open-ended garage) was a bonus to help keep the car cooler.The pool is beautiful, but not heated (at least it wasn’t during our visit).The washing machine on site was a bonus and there were adequate drying lines and a rack.Chania and Rethimno are both easy to access (about 45 minute drive) and local restaurants (such as Paradis Taverna) were excellent and inviting.I would not hesitate to return to this location if I am ever back in Crete.
