About this property
2 Bed in Swanton Novers (oc-2120)
Settle into this cosy two-bed cottage with rustic country decor, a warming wood burner and a tranquil garden lined with mature shrubs. Bring your wellies and explore the grounds of the working farm in which the property is located, take your small family or the other half on an adventure in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, stroll through the nearby nature reserves and visit the quaint Georgian town of Holt.
Step inside and find yourself in the calming and cosy lounge with delicate shades of blue where you can put your feet up on the sofa or sink into the armchair while the wood burner warms your toes. Continue into the compact ‘U’-shaped farmhouse-style kitchen with wooden surface tops and pale cabinets. After cooking a special meal for your loved ones, gather around the table and chairs in the dining room with a flame effect electric fire. There is also a family bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs is a snug with bean bags and a SmartTV plus two bedrooms – a king-size and a twin room. Outside is an enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ.
During your stay in the peaceful countryside village of Swanton Novers, you’ll be surrounded by meadows and ancient woodlands to explore on footpaths. Holt is 6.5 miles away – here you can explore the 100-acre woodland of Holt Country Park (6.5 miles), dine out or browse the independent shops. Pack a picnic and head to the golden, sandy Weybourne Beach (11 miles) and stroll along the waterfront to reach Salthouse Beach (11 miles) and the Salthouse Marshes nature reserve (10 miles).
