About this property
1 Bed in Great Waldingfield (oc-ac1)
A rural escape for two, ideally situated to explore the wonderful wool towns, this fabulous holiday barn has been lovingly converted by the owners in the pretty village of Great Waldingfield. Modern and cosy, this is one of three holiday properties available set around an attractive courtyard.
Step inside this cosy little single-story home, which has all you could possibly need for your stay. The open-plan living, kitchen and dining room offers a place to relax where you can enjoy time together under the exposed timber beams which add a touch of charm and character. Settle on the comfortable sofa and watch the Smart TV which has streaming services, or cook together in the well-fitted kitchen. When your meal is ready, move over to the semi-circle dining table and share your creations. As eyelids begin to droop, head to the cosy double bedroom which has an en-suite wet room with a shower. Outside, make a wish in the wishing well where you also have access to the large, shared courtyard with a private bistro table and chairs, perfect for basking in the golden hour sunshine with a tipple or two!
Whilst in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, you’ll be next door to some of the county’s most beautiful towns and villages. Great Waldingfield is a pretty little village close to many of the famous Wool Towns including Lavenham, Long Melford and Sudbury (all within 4 miles). The village itself boasts a traditional village inn and a small convenience store. Nearby are some excellent pubs, restaurants and shops to peruse during your stay. This is an excellent base for walkers, dog lovers, festival goers or people looking to get away from it all. There are many attractions nearby, such as farmers’ markets and beer festivals. There are also many public footpaths to explore taking you into the glorious countryside of Suffolk.
