Villa Mimosa is a charming villa with a wonderful internal garden where you can relax and dine during the warm summer evenings . There is also a spacious rooftop terrace with a view of the Etna volcano and the sea.

Weekend in Taormina

Villa mimosa was perfect for our group of 7 for a girls trip. Luciano and Nadia were easily to communicate and both were very accommodating. Amazing location to restaurant and shops.

Steps away from everything….

We arrived and found communication with the host very easy. The instructions we received were clear and accurate. We used What’s App for communication which was very nice. The situation was exactly as described and pictures on the website reflected the current condition of the house. The garden was most impressive and had multiple areas for dining and conversation. The roof top terrace had amazing views. The bedrooms were well decorated and the in room air conditioning units were perfect. The living spaces were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked and well equipped. We had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Villa in the heart of the city

Amazing villa, beautiful property and roof top deck w/stunning views. Check in was easy and helpful. The location is fantastic to walk throughout the walled city. No car needed. Only caution I would give is there is a lively bar next to the property, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the home. However, we thought the beauty of the villa, space and location far out weighed the noise factor. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Sleepless in Taormina

We wanted a great location near the main town for shopping and restaurants which is what this place offers. The property was old but everything worked fine. The big problem was noise at night was totally unbelievably loud and quite crazy. The unit is surrounded by 3-4 restaurants bars which were active until 2 am - active means loud music playing or loud laughter- I mean like they are in your room loud. But that wasn’t even the deal breaker- the disaster was a 5 am garbage pickup truck directly outside the house that was picking up bottles from the night before- I’m talking 3-4 stops and hundreds of bottles of wine and beer being smashed and crushed while we are trying to get some sleep- simply impossible to sleep here! I’ve never written a bad review but this is a non- starter for me since 80% of why I rent out a house is for sleeping! We don’t spend quiet days at the house- the fact that the back patio was covered in bird poo was the other kind of stand out and the tiles inside looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. Honestly the people who own this place were very nice and friendly but they should not rent this house out and expect people to come away sleep deprived and not give a review like this.

Beautiful Home in Taormina

We enjoyed out stay at Villa Mimosa! We were a group of 6, and the home had plenty of space for all of us! Especially the outdoor space! We had breakfast every morning outside on the patio! And the location was perfect. It was quiet, yet close to everything. I hope to stay there again!

Would go back anytime!

The only reason I chose 4 stars instead of 5 for the location is that there is a bar located right outside some of the bedroom windows which made those room(s) a little loud. With a sound machine playing on our phones, it was not a major issue. However, it is something to consider if you have small children. They would just have to be on the other side of the house. Other than that, the location is amazing because you have restaurants, bars and shops just steps away from your front door!! It has a gorgeous backyard and the view is amazing. Absolutely would plan to stay in the same place if/when we return to Taormina.

Fantastic Villa in the Heart of Taormina

This villa is something special, right in the heart of Taormina. It’s very spacious. The rooftop patio has a view of the sea, and the garden is beautiful and well cared for. Surrounded by restaurants and shops, everything is just steps away. We really loved the location.* We didn’t have a single bad dining experience, but highly recommend Rossa Peperoncini Ristorante just steps away. *Note: Taormina is definitely a city of night life, with restaurants opening at 7pm and staying open very late. The villa is surrounded by restaurants, so things are loud at night, but also in the morning when the recycling trucks come early. Battening up the windows with the indoor shutters and locking them helps a lot. After the first night we acclimated to it. If you are a very light sleeper, you might want to consider a villa in a totally different area, maybe closer to the coast, but then you’d miss out on the convenience. Please note that this has nothing to do with the villa itself, rather what we felt was the only potential downside to the location in general.

Prime Villa in a Prime Spot!

We rented this villa for my wedding in Taormina. From the moment we booked it, Luciano was very responsive to my emails about questions regarding the property. He got us in touch with his assistant who would be available at the property. They both were very helpful and accommodating to any requests we had. The property could not have been more ideally located in the heart of Taormina. Conveniently located near all the spots. The house was clean, had all amenities we needed. The terrace and rooftop area were breathtaking. I strongly encourage everyone to stay here when visiting Taormina!

Great location!

Great location to see Taormina. Large property with a lot of space. Unfortunately noise was an issue late into night then the trash and recycling removal in early morning resulting in broken glass in front of house. Recommend earplugs. Water pressure was poor if you took a shower in both bathrooms at same time. Some of the sheets had stains. Stairs did not have railing which is a little concerning with little ones. I would not recommend this house for young children.
