About this property

1 Bed in Sarn (oc-y29230)

Secluded amid the scenic beauty of the Llyn Peninsula National Landscape, this stylish cottage is the perfect getaway for couples seeking a romantic haven away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. Located on the slopes of Mynydd Rhiw, this dog-friendly cottage offers breathtaking vistas of the sea and mountains, providing a picturesque backdrop for your getaway. Positioned between the charming coastal villages of Aberdaron (5.5 miles), Abersoch (7.5 miles), and the historic market town of Pwllheli (11 miles), this retreat boasts a prime location for relaxation and exploration alike.

Enter this cosy cottage, and you will find plenty of original charm in the exposed wooden beams, which sit effortlessly beside all the contemporary comforts that make this an unforgettable stay. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a welcoming space. Sink into the inviting leather sofa or sumptuous velvet armchair and be warmed by the wood burner, creating a perfect setting for relaxed evenings together. The kitchen boasts garden views and all the necessary appliances to rustle up a romantic dinner or late brunch. The king-size bedroom has a serene ambience and a stylish en-suite shower room. Patio doors beckon you outside onto a landscaped area overlooking the sea and countryside. Step up to a paved patio area, where outdoor seating and a BBQ invite you to savour some al fresco dining. Meanwhile, a seating area with a fire pit allows you to stay snug while stargazing.

Immerse yourself in the natural splendour of the surrounding area with plenty of scenic walks. Explore Plas Yn Rhiw (1.5 miles), a must-see National Trust manor house with an ornamental garden and beautiful views, or spend a day on the picturesque beach of Porthor, otherwise known as Whistling Sand (5.5 miles), a nickname based on the sound the grains make underfoot when you walk over the sand. Walkers can access the Wales Coast Path at Plas Yn Rhiw with spectacular walks in either direction.
