We had a good stay overall and really appreciated how wonderful the host was. They were incredibly communicative, responsive, and attentive throughout our trip. Since we visited during an unusually hot period in the summer, the property didn't have air conditioning, but the host quickly brought us an extra fan, which made a noticeable difference. They also delivered additional towels the very next day and let us know. The apartment was well equipped with plenty of essentials and extra items available if needed, making it feel comfortable and well stocked.The neighborhood felt safe, and because of the heat, we were comfortable leaving the windows open at night to get some airflow.The biggest downside was the stairs. We were not aware that the apartment was on an upper floor with no lift (elevator), and this wasn't clearly stated in the listing. We had to carry our luggage up seven flights of very steep stairs, which was exhausting. If you're traveling with large suitcases, have mobility concerns, or simply don't want the workout, this is something to seriously consider before booking.Another thing to keep in mind is the location relative to public transportation. While there is a bus stop nearby, the nearest Tube stations are about a 15–20 minute walk. Since we relied on the Tube to get to many of the places we wanted to visit, this added extra walking to our days.Overall, we had a positive experience thanks to the excellent host and the well-equipped apartment.
