Property was double booked. Someone else was in the apartment on arrival. It was a terrible experience overall from staying outside in the hot summer sun to booking another apartment on the spot which costed more than twice the amount of the initial booking. I had to use my credit card to pay for that as it was an emergency expense. It makes me wonder what I’d have done if I did not have up to the limit I had. Additionally, I had my graduation that day and could not focus on the ceremony. My guests and I were stranded. If this were to happen to any traveller at night, it would even be more terrifying. Confirm the apartment is not double booked before proceeding.

Sorry to hear about your experience — that’s not what we aim for at our house. We take this very seriously and are reviewing our booking procedures to prevent it happening again.
