Phenomenal location, amenities and host. Would highly recommend staying here for families. Kitchen has everything you need to make meals or store a first day shop. Reception room is large and comfortable. Location is ideal as it’s just off the main streets but close enough to walk it all.

Very cute little place. It's like a secret hideaway. The host was very helpful and accommodating. No issues. We had all the amenities and plugs and entertainment for a rainy day. I enjoyed staying there. It's a nice location with walkable access to the castle and parks and many restaurants including a coffee shop around the block called Jack Rabbit. Great food and coffee. There's a breakfast place two blocks from there called Greenwoods. I highly recommend going there but be sure to make a reservation. And another great place for lunch and dinner is Contini. It's about 1.5 blocks away on the main thoroughfare. Italian cuisine. My son had three different dishes and all were very good. Next to the apartment is a bar and restaurant which serves excellent hamburgers and a variety of beers. Great food. I'd love to visit Edinburgh again and would love to return to this little hideaway. Love it. If you need to rent a car, don't do it at the airport. There's a car rental called drivalia about a 15 to 20 minutes walk. I recommend getting out of the city and driving up to Inverness. On the way you can stop by castles and whiskey makers. If you enjoy scenery and nature, I suggest you go on side roads north and east alongside the main highway. Travel to Dulsie Bridge and Aviemore. Beautiful areas to see. You have to see it. Otherwise you're missing out on how beautiful Scotland really is!

What a lovely property in a fantastic location! I stayed here with my husband and three 20-something daughters. It was perfect for our 3-night stay in Edinburgh. The property was very clean, light, and tastefully furnished, and the sleeping arrangements were great for a party of our size. The kitchen was small, but we ate all our meals out. The living area, however, was quite large, and the five of us enjoyed lounging in there after long days of sight seeing. Location is excellent — walking distance to everything we wanted to see in the Old Town and even to the Waverly Trian Station. Highly recommend!
