We had a fantastic two weeks at Poggio Guiano. From the start, the owners were extremely keen for us to have the perfect holiday. They are clearly very proud of their farm and invited us to join them in their grape harvest and showed us their hazelnut harvester. Throughout the holiday they provided us with produce including grapes, fruit and olive oil. The accommodation was wonderful; a lovely warm salt-water pool, great relaxation area, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and outside areas where we could make the best use of sun and shade. Best of all though was the attention and service we received from Ruth, the villa manager. From arranging a wine tasting and horse-riding to daily recommendations for activities, regular check-ins to ensure everything was running smoothly and engaging electricians / plumbers to sort out small issues with air conditioning (within minutes of the notificiation!). To round off the week, she managed to find us a table for 11 at a local restaurant for our last night meal. We can only say thank you so much!

We rented this beautiful home in August for our family of 9 adults, 7 kids and 2 infants. The property is incredible for large groups because there's room for everyone to be together and also for each family unit to have their own space. The layout and design is beautifully and thoughtfully done. The views are breathtaking and the all the outdoor spaces are great - plenty of space at the pool as well. We were very nervous about renting the villa because there weren't that many reviews but we took a chance and it was the best experience we ever had. Everyone truly loved the villa - the indoor and outdoor space - and we would definitely go back. The owners and manager of the property were very responsive and took care of any issues that came up quickly. The owners are nice and kind and care that their property is well maintained. The property manager was also very helpful with reservations at the beach, helping us find nearby activities etc... and always helping with a smile. She arranged for our shopping list to be purchased and delivered before we even arrived, which was really helpful. The villa is in an authentic Italian area, which we loved, not many tourists around! In conclusion, we were thrilled we took this villa, would definitely go back and appreciated the incredible hospitality of the owners and the property manager.

Abbiamo affittato questa splendida villa per una settimana in occasione di un team building aziendale e ci siamo trovati benissimo. I proprietari ci hanno accolto con grande gentilezza e sono stati sempre disponibili e rapidissimi nel gestire ogni esigenza durante il soggiorno. La casa è meravigliosa, con una vista stupenda e ambienti curati, moderni e molto confortevoli. La sala hobby è stata perfetta per trascorrere piacevoli serate insieme, rendendo il soggiorno ideale sia per il relax che per il divertimento. Una location davvero speciale, che ha reso questa esperienza ancora più bella. Assolutamente consigliata!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tenuta Poggio Guiano!! The property is immaculate and had every modern amenity anyone could wish for. The AC was amazing as the temps were quite high when were were there. The pool is gorgeous and the view is beautiful! We were a big family group of 7 adults and 8 Kids. We loved hanging out in the big common room ("area relax"). The communal kitchen was also great. (The larger units also have their own kitchens.) The hosts could not have been better. They were wonderful. They helped us before, during and after our stay....booking an evening boat trip on Lake Bolsena, helping us decide what places to visit, booking dinner reservations, and teaching us to cook gnocchi! The area is an undiscovered gem with far fewer tourists than I've encountered in other areas of Italy. The village near the property, San Lorenzo Nuovo, has a good restaurant, coffee places, gelaterias, pharmacy, and small grocery store. It's an easy walk from the property. We enjoyed a couple of days on the lake itself which is a volcanic lake with very clear water. The town of Bolsena is also an easy one to visit. There are several great places to visit nearby. We really enjoyed Civita and Orvieto...both about 30 minute drive away.

Struttura nuovissima, adatta per un gruppo numeroso come il nostro o per famiglie con bambini. Curata nei minimi dettagli per dare il massimo del comfort agli ospiti. Proprietari e personale, gentilissimi, ospitali, discreti e disponibili nell’ascoltare anche qualche suggerimento per migliorare ancora la struttura (peraltro subito accolto). Per ultimo, vista panoramica del lago di Bolsena tra le più belle che io ricordi. Ci rivedremo presto.
