About this property

3 Bedroom Luxury Cape - Walk To Train & Beach

Our home was recently renovated. In addition to high end finishes, there are 3 bedrooms that comfortably sleep 6. There is a finished basement, 3 season room and large backyard. One of the upstairs bedroom is an office with a convertible couch. The basement has a large Crate & Barrel sofa that is perfect for cozying up with hot chocolate while you watch Netflix with the family.

There is a full laundry room in the basement complete with washer and dryer and a small bathroom. The basement has additional open space perfect for working out, or rolling around with the kids.

We are 1 mile from the Westport train station and about a 5 min drive from the beach. Saugatuck is a quick walk with a few great restaurants. It is minutes from downtown Westport which has great shopping and restaurants.

Beautiful, Immaculate and Great Location!

We had a wonderful stay at Molly and Aja's gorgeous Westport retreat. Their home is cozy, comfortable, beautifully decorated and immaculate. It's also ideally located being within a few minutes of shops, the beach, kayaking/rowing and 95. And Molly and Aja are wonderful hosts who made us feel 'at home' in theirs. Just a terrific experience overall.

MODEST AND FUNCTIONAL

This home was tastefully and functionally updated. The stairs to the upstair portion(bedrooms) are steeper than ideal and uncarpeted. The road noise and train noise takes some getting used to and is not a positive factor. Close proximity to towns, restaurants, beaches, and shopping. The house could use a toaster even though owners do not have a need for it themselves. I could see cooling this house with two small window AC units could be a challenge in the summer. Lastly, although NetFlix is an option h, I strongly suggest cable TV and place another unit in the living room. Owners were nice people who were responsive to texts and email questions.

It was the perfect place to call home while we visited friends.

This house is perfect to hang your hats and kick off your shoes at the end of a busy day! Rooms were relaxing and comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking! Great backyard if you have kids that need to run around! Easy to find! Amazing place to stay! Hopefully when we return again it will still be available.

We saw this house and fell in love with it, even though we weren't even looking to buy a house at the time. My sister in law, an interior designer helped pick out the furnishings.
