The apartment is located in the heart of downtown, but in a quiet street.
Located on the first floor of a beautifully restored old building right next street to the famous shopping street of Downtown Budapest (Vaci street, 5th district). The area has just gone through a major renovation and facelift and is now the most beautiful and up and coming area of the downtown region. Reduced auto traffic and pedestrian only streets all around. The metro stop 'Ferenciek tere' is just 200 m away.
The windows of the apartment look onto an inner romantic courtyard, providing a quiet atmosphere. Cleaned professionally before each guest.
Taxi service available upon request to and from airport (EUR 35.-)/one way.
Price includes all costs (cleaning, internet, heating, etc), there's nothing extra to be paid. The calendar is always up to date, you can book your dates right away.

Stepping out of the building you will find restaurants, wine bars, shops.
With a few minute walk you will reach the famous Central Market (Vasarcsarnok on Fovam ter), from there walk across the bridge over the Danube to reach Gellert bath all within 15 minutes. If you want to walk the other direction, you will reach the Basilica and the Opera within 15 minutes seeing beautiful buildings, shops, restaurants on the way or you can take the metro for 1 stop.

I will provide you with a 'house manual' that will make your life easier with a list of recommended restaurants and I will be personally happy to assist you on your way to explore Budapest.

I recommend this place for 2 persons who like to be where there's lots to see and yet able to retreat to a quiet hideaway after a long day of sightseeing, shopping..

My stay here was great! The apartment was clean and stocked when we arrived. The location was perfect for exploring the city but also quiet in the evenings with great restaurants nearby. Check-in and out were seamless thanks to great communication and clear instructions from the Host. I will absolutely book this apartment again when I hopefully come back to this charming city.

The virtues of this rental are: its quiet, pleasant neighborhood, short walks to many nice restaurants, proximity to many notable sites and easy access to cruise line docks. We found the neighbors friendly, and in general experienced good will from people all about. One got the feeling of how life would be living in downtown, historic Budapest, which we very much enjoyed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.This apartment is in an absolutely perfect location with many restaurants and cafes nearby.Even though Budapest is a big city we were able to walk everywhere we went except for the cheap Uber to and from the train station.Communication with our host Andrew was excellent and he even checked in on us and offered some good dining recommendations.There is one single winding staircase to get to the apartment with no lift but most people wil have no problems.We had a great stay here in a great city!

Great stay

Stayed for the F1 and was a great location for the metro and airport buses. Great bars and restaurants a minutes walk away. Apartment was clean and had great amenities.

Great location for our stay , very clean apartment if not a little dated , access is up a spiral staircase which is not for everyone .All shops and restaurants on the doorstep.Unfortunately we could hear every footstep from the apartment above especially throughout the night !!However excellent help from the host on checking in.

Perfect location to roam around Budapest!

Apartment was secure and just off the beaten path. It was an excellent location for sightseeing and eating. We walked all over the city and felt safe when we came back. There is also a small local bar directly across the street just in case you want one more!

A quaint and comfortable apartment in a charming neighbourhood. It’s well set up for a short stay, with the owner available by txt for any assistance.However, a narrow spiral staircase to the front door on first floor may suit younger clients.

Great location with everything in the room and surrounding neighborhoods

Spent 5 days and it was just perfect. The only catch is there is a winding staircase to the 1st floor room. It adds to the experience but be prepared. Room had everything you might need and the bed was comfortable.

Very quaint apartment. Great location for access to all tourist stuff. Andrew was so helpful with various requests, he was fantastic.Wish there was a balcony to sit with view, so as to have glass of wine and people watch.

very charming place to stay

The location is wonderful, very close to Ferenciak Tere, and the property owner stays in excellent communication. I found the apartment clean and comfortable, and the small kitchen had everything I needed. I would recommend this apartment to those who can manage a set of spiral stairs.

Nice flat in great location

Property is exactly as per the advert. Brilliant location in central Budapest. Walking distance to most attractions. The owner met us when we arrived which was a nice touch. Flat has everything you need, is very quiet being set off a courtyard. Very good internet connection too.
