WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Marr Cottage is a rural base for a nature-filled trip to Dumfries and Galloway. Note: Farmland surrounds the property. Please do not charge any electric vehicle at this property. Please note the property accepts a minimum of 2 nights stay

Thornhill is a quiet village in Mid Nithsdale, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. These ancient hills are surrounded by beautiful scenery and the low hills of Carsphairn and Lowther. In Thornhill village is a column supporting a winged horse, the emblem of the Dukes of Queensberry, who own the surrounding land and Drumlanrig Castle. Set on an 80,000-acre estate with a country park and Victorian gardens, Drumlanrig Castle is one of the finest examples of late 17th-century Renaissance architecture in Scotland. Thornhill's location is ideal for day trips to Ayr or cosmopolitan Glasgow.
