5 bedroom, 4 bathrooms, sleeps 14 - Now with an electric vehicle charger.
5 rooms with two queen beds, 4 double beds, 2 twin beds, 1 baby crib and 4 hideabeds. Marty's Hideaway is the only room of the first floor that can be used as a private bedroom. Normally it is set up as the T.V. room, but it also has a couch that converts to a very comfortable double bed with an air mattress that allows you to set your desired firmness level. This is ideal for those with limited mobility. Next door is a wheelchair friendly full bathroom that can be reached from Marty’s Hideaway without having to go through any of the public rooms in the house. We have great views from all the rooms in our house. Come see what Harry Potter's Bedroom is. Hint: it is not a bedroom!

About Charlie Tomberg
In 2004, the Tomberg family bought Strawbridge Farm and renamed it 'Marty's Place at Strawbridge Farm' in honor of their father, Martin William Tomberg. They undertook a complete remodeling and upgrading of the house, but even after the modifications, Marty's Place retains much of its original rustic sensabilities. In 2005, Strawbridge Farm once again opened to guests as it was in the past. The walls of this house have been blessed with almost 100 years of laughter. Please help us build another 100 years with yours. Who's Marty of Marty's place? Martin William Tomberg was our father. Born in New York in June of 1926, an avid Yankee fan and entrepreneur, he devoted his life to his family. Sitting in his well worn recliner, reading the New York Times with the din of Sunday morning political commentary in the background, our father created a home full of love and memories. He was also an extraordinarily generous man who gave without expectation of receiving. His generosity continues today with the gift of this property to his family. Our dad could spend hours sitting on a bench enjoying a beautiful view and we hope that you enjoy sharing in his generosity as you gaze over the bluff out to the Saratoga Passage and the beauty of the surrounding area.

Why Charlie Tomberg chose Langley
Marty's Place is a five bedroom plus vacation rental home with room for a few people or your entire family. Our guests enjoy the privacy of our 4.5 acres overlooking the water, but we are just a short walk to Langley, a pretty village by the sea. Come stay with us to get away from it all but with all of the amenities and shops you need just a walk away.
What makes this house unique
Marty's Place can accommodate up to fourteen people, which is more than most of the other vacation rental homes on Whidbey Island. Few other places can match our stunning views or the quiet tranquility of our unique setting. We also provide a Level 2 EV charger for our guests to use.
