Escape to the serenity of the beach, wind, and waves. With an unparalleled beachfront view, Tranquility Base is the ideal place to relax, get away, and enjoy all that the gulf coast has to offer. Construction was completed on this exceptional, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in October of 2017.

Paying homage to the space history of nearby Houston, the beach house is named after the site on the Moon where humans first landed, the first words being, "Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed!" At Surfside Beach, you can find a place where the peaceful tranquility of this beach house is made possible by the earthly pleasures of the water, wind, and sand.

Just steps away from the beach over the adjacent walkway, sit with your feet in the water or explore miles of surf and sand. Relax on the spacious upper deck with both covered and open areas, and have an unencumbered view for miles down the coast. Head down to the large shaded deck under the house for games and grilling. After catching your breath from the incomparable experiences outside, head inside to the beautiful, clean, and commodious living and sleeping areas.

Our house is furnished and decorated with comfort, relaxation, and convenience in mind. The living accommodations include:
- Living room: three big windows looking out to the ocean, a large flat screen TV with Blu-ray player, one couch, one sleeper sofa, and two swivel/reclining chairs
- Dining area: large table that seats eight, bar stool seating for eight, a high chair, and small toddler table with chairs
- Master bedroom: one king Tempur-Pedic bed, large dresser, wardrobe cabinet, flat screen TV, private balcony, and private bathroom with a bathtub/shower
- 2nd bedroom: one king Restonic bed, two twin bunks, and a fold out twin lounger. Room also has flat screen TV, large closet, and roomy private bathroom with standing shower
- 3rd bedroom: one king Tempur-Pedic bed, dresser, closet, shared full bathroom, and private balcony
- 4th bedroom: two queen beds with two custom-built twin beds. Room also includes large closet, shared full bathroom, and private balcony

All bedrooms are spacious. A pack-n-play along with sheet is provided. The living room closet contains adult and children games and children's toys.

The kitchen is fully stocked and will meet all of your cooking/baking needs. Stainless steel appliances are all new, and the reverse osmosis system provides high-quality drinking water. A full-service laundry room is available for use.

The deck has four tall wooden chairs along with two rocking chairs and adirondack chairs. Feel free to spend countless hours here during the day and at night. On the lower deck you will find an Old Smokey grill to use as well as a picnic table.

Ample parking is available under the house and along the driveway, as the property extends all the way to Bluewater Hwy.

Surfside Beach is conveniently located about an hour drive from Houston, a 3-4 hour drive from San Antonio/Austin, and a 4-5 hour drive from the DFW Metroplex. Surfside provides a quiet, relaxing, seaside retreat with a wide array of family activities including surfing, fishing, crabbing, shelling, bird-watching, boating, sight-seeing, shopping, dining, and beach activities like kiting, jet skiing, and soaking up the sun. Nearby Lake Jackson and Galveston provide additional options for fun and entertainment. Moody Gardens, Galveston Island's Pleasure Pier, and Schlitterbahn are just a few of the nearby attractions that will make your stay in Surfside memorable.
