A beautiful garden and a clean villa, plenty of lounge chairs, and a large pool. A very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There are a few restaurants and bars nearby, and it’s just a 20-minute drive to a larger town that we really liked. The host was very polite, and even with the language barrier, we were able to communicate. A very pleasant place to relax surrounded by nature!

We absolutely loved our time at Marco’s place! Check-in instructions were a little unclear, but once we got in and were able to meet and chat with Marco, everything was smooth sailing. The property is stunning and we could’ve stayed many nights more! Just a little aways from Lucca, it was the perfect location for our time in Tuscany. I would recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back for a longer stay in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was wonderfully cool, with thick walls, double shutters, and air conditioning when all that wasn’t enough. The garden was fantastic: the pool was wonderful, the lounge chairs were comfortable, and there were plenty of places to sit in the garden. A bakery within walking distance, pizzerias and a restaurant in the village itself, and a beautiful area for walking or running right from your front door. Lucca, the nearest larger city, was definitely worth a visit. The house is a bit noisy, but after talking it over with the neighbors upstairs, we didn’t have any more issues with that. Not all the kitchenware was in perfect condition, but we were able to work around that just fine.

A very beautiful, peaceful setting. Marco is very welcoming and responsive. The kitchen is very well-equipped with dishes, serving dishes, kitchen utensils, and condiments—which is very rare. The bedding is fine, contrary to what I’ve read. It’s nice to take a dip in the pool surrounded by olive trees after a long day of sightseeing. The only downside: the mosquitoes, which quickly made us give up on eating outside in the evening. Nearby: beaches and lovely places to visit—Lucca, Pisa, Florence. Tuscany is truly beautiful and combines tranquility with lively towns full of charming shops. There are some excellent restaurants that aren’t too expensive compared to France. We highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this place. The surroundings are beautiful, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. We traveled as a family with three children ages 4–11, and the place worked out perfectly for all of us. The garden was very nice, and the pool was absolutely perfect for both children and adults. The location was also excellent—close to the airport we flew out of, while several charming and picturesque Italian villages were within easy reach for enjoyable day trips. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made it easy to cook our own meals whenever we wanted. At the same time, there were several excellent restaurants nearby. The host was also very friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout our stay. We really couldn’t have asked for more and would love to return in the future. A place we highly recommend!
