The garden is an old orchard that abounds with plums, apples, pears, walnuts and cherries from mid-July to October. Just 200 meters from the house you'll find a small beach and a fishing village, providing many opportunities for outdoor activities.

Visit local farm shops such as Dalhøjgaard and Lindhøjs Dexter, or go beer tasting at Krenkerup Bryggeri. Every Saturday morning there's a food market in Maribo, which is definitely worth a visit.
