High expectations that weren’t completely filled 😣
This was my very first trip to New Orleans, so I was very excited when I found this penthouse. Check-in was easy, the penthouse looked very clean. Some of the issues we had to were: 1. The bed was VERY uncomfortable. 2. Upstairs was EXTREMELY hot, the air conditioner would run but it did not cool off the bedroom. 3. The shower head did not work well and the water pressure was weak. I emailed them at about 1am and they did send the maintenance man out before 9am. Very speedy response!! Also, the shower should really have a door. The water gets outside of the shower.
4. The parking lot the was suggested for the Hosteeva tenants to park in right across the street was not safe at all!! We could literally see the parking lot from our terrace. Our truck was 1 of 12 cars broken into the first night we were there!!! DO NOT PARK THERE!!!!! Honestly, the recommendation of the lot should be removed from the suggestion list!! Park in the garage next to it. While I am grateful for certain things, the truck being broken into was a complete damper on the trip, but we were still able to make the best of it.
