Lovely 4bed, 2ba, 3 blocks to the beach!

Welcome to Salty Air Cottage in Ventnor, NJ. This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is located 3 blocks from the beach and only minutes from Atlantic City and Margate. This home has been beautifully decorated throughout and furnished with an eye toward comfort and relaxation. The house is charming, clean, and in excellent condition.

Four bedrooms and one full bath are upstairs. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, window AC unit, and closet. Two bedrooms have a queen bed. The other two have two twin beds each. The back queen bedroom leads to a roof deck. The two queen mattresses were replaced in 2021.

For longer off season stays, we can provide a desk, chair, and lamp for remote working!

The utility room off the kitchen has a new HE washer and dryer. A second bath with shower is on the ground floor. Out back you'll find a sunny patio with seating for 6. There is a driveway space for 1 car and plenty of street parking. On the driveway side of the house, there is an enclosed outdoor shower with running hot and cold water for washing off after the beach. There is Wifi and Comcast Cable with local channels plus HBO. The living room has a smart TV so you can bring your own Netflix, Roku, Comcast, Amazon, or HBO account with you.

Salty Air is a small cottage, suitable for 4 adults or 1 family. We cannot accommodate large groups. No proms, parties, or spring break groups. This is a quiet neighborhood suitable for family time, romantic getaways, or relaxing stays with friends. Guests are required to respect neighbors and keep noise to a minimum.

During the summer, we book Saturday to Saturday with a 7 night minimum. In the off season, shorter stays are available and wherever possible, you may arrive early or check out late. Due to local ordnances, any 2 night stay will automatically receive a 3rd night.

This house lived up to and exceeded expectations. The location was great, as were the amenities. The host reached out proactively to make sure everything was going well and was very responsive. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful home

Home was very lovely and accommodating. Huge attention to detail and we were not left needing or wanting anything more. Fully stocked home all around-bathroom, kitchen, laundry products etc. Easy communication with owner. The neighbors however don't seem to want vacationers and the vibe left us feeling very unwanted. Neighbor across the street called police 2x and we were ticketed for the lines she painted illegally for which we did file a complaint. Overall though our vacation home itself was wonderful.

We loved it here!

The house is adorable and offers a lot. We really only needed to bring our clothes, toiletries, and linens. It adorably decorated and had some thoughtful extras like stocking the house with books and games. The owners were easy to work with and were attentive to our needs. My only critique is that we wish there was a better AC system. There are window units in every room and they work well, but are noisy. This is not uncommon in this area and the owners did mention that they are working on upgrading to a better system. Thank you for a wonderful vacation home!

Lovely home for a Jersey beach getaway!

We rented this home for a beach getaway for my teenage daughter and 4 of her friends. The girls loved the house and were very comfortable in the bedrooms and sharing the upstairs bathroom. I was totally comfortable with them walking to the beach on their own and happy the lifeguards were on duty and seriously watching out for their safety (they were on top of it last year too which I loved). The kitchen was totally stocked and we were able to cook as needed. The large dining room table sat everyone comfortably. The air conditioners all worked and cooled the rooms down quickly. Melanie is lovely too and very quick to respond with any questions. I would recommend this home if you are looking for a Jersey Beach getaway!

Coast Guard Boot Camp Graduation Trip

What a great property with a lot of extras. We've stayed all over the east coast and were pleasantly surprised by all of the amenities of this great property. With 7 of us aged 16-77 we found plenty of room for relaxing and eating. Three outdoor seating areas were available as well. While smaller than average, it was great to have a dishwasher for coffee and breakfast dishes. The laundry room was a huge bonus as we were 5 different homes represented. There are stairs to the second floor but handles/rails all the way to help ease the strain on bad knees. The upstairs bathroom was so beautiful and well appointed. Two queen and 2 double twin rooms were perfect for our crew. Hot water was plentiful. Food and grocery shopping was plentiful withany suburbs nearby as well. Super close to the ocean, in a small, quiet, and well kept neighborhood with easy street parking. I would consider myself a fairly picky person when traveling, with high expectations - this property met AND exceeded them. Communication with management was a breeze and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

Cute Ventnor beach house

We stayed at the cottage over our Atlantic City wedding weekend with our families. Melanie was super sweet - allowing us to check in early, bringing us a stand mixer and leaving us a bottle of champagne! The touches were very sweet. The house is nice with multiple outdoor spaces. Very enjoyable stay. Melanie was very communicative & even met us upon checkin. Our only issue was that the the stay did not include sheets or towels. Apparently this is standard for south jersey. We had to purchase sheets before our stay - the last thing you want to think about before a wedding. We also had to bring our own towels - not something you want to waste space on while packing for a wedding & honeymoon. We were offered linen service but it was too expensive - about the price of the full night stay. Bringing your own linens may make sense if you’re there for a whole summer but for the weekend it was a drag. Otherwise great space. Would stay there again.
