Unfortunately, our experience was a bit mixed. When we first arrived, the male receptionist working on Friday evening was quite rude and unhelpful. He gave us our keys without really explaining anything about breakfast, the spa, etc., and when we went upstairs, we found someone else already staying in the room! We had to come back down and sort it out ourselves. Thankfully, the blonde female receptionist working afterwards was lovely, smiley and helpful, and quickly gave us a new room. We had to speak to the male receptionist again later before dinner to ask what time the spa closed. His response was simply “ten”, with no further explanation or any attempt to be friendly or helpful. We completely understand that there can be a language barrier and don't expect everyone to speak perfect English, but there is a noticeable difference between someone struggling with the language and someone who simply doesn't seem interested in helping. Unfortunately, his attitude came across as very unfriendly throughout our interactions. The room itself also needed a little more care. The curtain was ripped and had foundation marks on it, there were some marks on the bed, the towels were very thin, and the air conditioning was broken to the point where I had to use tweezers to adjust it. The spa area and some of the corridors also felt like they could use some maintenance and care. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable, we slept really well, and the breakfast was decent. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, there are some good things about the hotel, but the poor attitude of the male receptionist and the general lack of maintenance in parts of the hotel unfortunately let the experience down.

Wir waren zwar nur für eine Nacht da, haben aber recht viel erlebt. Zunächst war der Empfang mit drei Damen besetzt. Begrüssung sieht anders aus. Kein 'Hallo' , kein 'Guten Tag', null small talk a la ' hatten sie eine gute Anreise', nur 'sie haben ja schon bezahlt ausser dem Gästebeitrag". Nun ja, recht holpriger Einstieg.Wir haben ein Dreibettzimmer bestellt, kriegten aber zuerst ein Doppelzimmer. Kein Problem, zurück zum Empfang, Zimmer tauschen. Wieder kein richtiges Gespräch, nur : dann ist wohl der Sessel nicht bezogen.Kein Entschuldigung, nichts. Kann mal passieren, es wurde schnell reagiert und ein neues Zimmer zugewiesen, diesmal richtig mit drei Betten bestückt. Sachen auspacken, einrichten, etwas Essen gehen, das war zumindest der Plan. Jedoch, Überraschung, liess sich die Zimmertüre beim Verlassen des Zimmers nicht schliessen, so dass man ohne Zimmerkarte eintreten konnte. Also wieder zurück zum Empfang, drittes Zimmer umbuchen ('morgen früh kommt ein Techniker-morgen früh reisen wir ab') , hier war endlich alles in Ordnung. Als wir vom Essen ins Haus zurück kamen, lief im TV am Eingang Werbung für die Hotelbar mit Happy Hour, Cocktails für €7. Klingt gut, gehen wir doch hin. Kurz ins Zimmer, Sachen abladen, wieder runter, tja, schade Hotelbar geschlossen. Am Empfang standen Getränkekühlschränke, gute Idee, holen wir uns eben hier ein Getränk, zahlbar am Empfang. Wir standen etwas verloren am linken Tresen während am rechten Tresen gleich zwei Mitarbeiter die neuen Anreisegäste eincheckten, wobei eine der Damen angelernt zu werden schien, dennoch kann mal einen kurzen Blick in die Runde werfen, dass weitere Gäste bemerkt wurden.Eine Zeitlang später kam die dritte Dame aus dem Back Office, kassierte unsere zwei Getränke, interessant, wie lange man €7 Kleingeld nachzählen kann. Das Zimmer war recht klein, sehr sauber und die Nacht war trotz Stadtlage sehr ruhig. Unser persönliches Highlight war das Frühstück am nächsten Tag. Unmengen an Auswahl , alles sehr frisch , lecker und sehr ansehnlich präsentiert. Der Servicemitarbeiter Herr Müller war frisch, spritzig, immer zur Stelle und mit den beiden Kollegen im Service sehr freundlich und flott unterwegs. Hier Kompliment und vielen Dank. Später beim Auschecken wieder nur sehr verhaltenes Auftreten am Empfang. Kein 'hatten sie eine gute Zeit oder wie hat es ihnen gefallen', nur ein 'bei ihnen ist alles erledigt'. Das Hotelzimmer war sauber und ordentlich, aber für mehr als zwei Personen ist es allerdings etwas eng. Positiv fand ich den bequemen Schreibtisch mit Stuhl, der sich gut zum Arbeiten eignet. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und bereits im Zimmerpreis enthalten. Auch die gemütliche Sauna kann von den Hotelgästen kostenlos genutzt werden und ist besonders nach einem stressigen Tag angenehm. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt mit einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Das Hotel ist schön. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Die Zimmer etwas abgewohnt. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer. Das ein Doppelzimmer im Endeffekt war mit Zustellbett. Daher konnte man sich im Gang vor dem Betten nur einzeln bewegen. Für eine Nacht o.k. Frühstück war gut viel Auswahl. Der eine Mitarbeiter war sehr gestresst was er an den Mitarbeitern ausgelassen hat. Aber das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich Auswahl für jeden auch für Lactose oder Gluten Unverträglichkeiten. Fazit war o.k wie gesagt für 1 Nacht.

Goed hotel, schoon, goede kamers, uitstekend ontbijt. Alleen het derde bed in de kamer, een uitgeklapte slaapbank, was zeer ondermaats. De springveren kraakten de hele nacht en de matras was te dun en oncomfortabel voor mijn 16-jarige zoon. Dit is voor mij een reden om niet meer een kamer hier met zo'n slaapbank te reserveren. Helaas, want verder uitstekend hotel, met prima prijs-kwaliteit.

Die Buchung über die hoteleigene Webseite verlief noch unkompliziert und hat auch gut geklappt. Bis zur Ankunft. Ich hatte ein Familienzimmer für mich und meine zwei Kinder gebucht (so steht's auch auf der Buchung, im Betreff aber immer 2 Adults 1 child). Als ich dann abends an der Rezeption stand, konnte erst die Buchung im System nicht gefunden werden (wg. Systemumstellung, weil das Hotel den Eigentümer gewechselt haben soll), um mir dann mitzuteilen, dass leider kein Dreibett-Familienzimmer mehr frei sei (weil das Hotel ausgebucht war), sondern wir uns mit einem letzten verfügbaren Doppelzimmer mit Doppelbett begnügen müssten. Meine Kinder sind nicht mehr ganz so klein, ging aber irgendwie, irgendwo mussten wir ja schlafen. Eine dritte Bettdecke wäre aber ganz nett gewesen. Ich hatte dann aber auch keine Lust mehr nochmal zur Rezeption zu gehen. Kulanterweise hat uns der Rezeptionist dann das Frühstück am nächsten Tag umsonst zugebucht. Nett gemeint, hat uns aber nicht wirklich geholfen, da wir es bewusst nicht gebucht hatten und früh los wollten/sind. Bei der Schlüsselabgabe/dem Checkout morgens wieder ein Problem. Wollte nur die Karte abgeben, da kam gleich der Hinweis: Momemt, man müsse kurz im Computer schauen. Dann die Frage, ob ich schon bezahlt hätte. Hatte ich per Paypal, war aber im Buchungssystem im Hotel nicht hinterlegt. Nach einiger Diskussion hat sich die Dame dann mit meiner Beteuerung zufrieden gegeben, da auf der Buchungsbestätigung in meinen Mails nichts darüber drin stand. Nur halt die Abbuchung bei mir bei Paypal. Trotz meiner eher mäßigen Erfahrung: das Personal war nett und um Lösung bemüht, das Hotel liegt gut (nur wenige Minuten zum Phantasialand, wo wohl gefühlt alle Gäste hin wollten), innen auch sauber und insgesamt recht ordentlich und ansehnlich. Letztlich aber nicht das was man sich wünscht, wenn man verbindlich gebucht hat, spät mit den Kindern ankommt und eigentlich nur noch schnell auf's Zimmer möchte. Insgesamt also keine positive Erfahrung. Ich hoffe aber das war ein Einzelfall und tatsächlich auf eine Systemumstellung zurückzuführen.
