Stone palace of the elves

Lord of the rings vacation stay. High above Lake Isabella, a hidden home, very cozy small, designed by Carmel, California sculptor. King-size bed one extra inflatable twin size bed, small cooking area, electric double burner, pots and pans, mini fridge. spring water for drinking and bathing. This is an earth house. built between two massive granite boulders and all natural materials, mostly cement. There is a steep 140 foot path from where you park people have to be in good physical condition to stay here. Suggestion do not bring a large ice chest. Also 10 minute drive up a steep narrow paved road then half mile of dirt road. dirt road requires four-wheel-drive if snow or heavy rain is expected.

No late check-in here 10 PM is the latest . We don't want to bother the neighbors. if you need any guidance the host will be unavailable after 10 pm
No outdoor cooking or campfires. No heavy drinking or drug use. No bathing in the water feature, water would spill out, pump would run dry
No off-road vehicles on the dirt road here, that means dirt bikes or quads. no trespassing on the neighboring lands, so no freestyle hiking .

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed—you can truly see how much love and attention to detail went into creating it. I especially loved the shower, which was carved straight from the stone!Overall, we had such a wonderful stay. It was the perfect place to unplug, slow down, and recharge.One thing to note: I’d recommend an AWD vehicle, as the property is fairly remote in the mountains. Also, Apple Maps may take you the long and more difficult way up the mountain, so be sure to get the easier directions directly from Kris.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!
