Sunny retreat on Nesfjellet near alpine skiing

This cabin in Nesfjellet is designed to provide space for both activity and relaxation, with seating for eight around the dining table and a layout that allows you to enjoy the sun all day long. Its location in Hallingdal, just over two hours from Oslo, makes it a natural choice for long weekends and week-long stays.



Inside, the living room is furnished with large sofas and a 65-inch Samsung Frame TV, and the kitchen is fully equipped for serious cooking. The round dining table serves as the cabin’s natural gathering spot for eight people. In a separate lounge on the floor above, the kids can watch TV or play PlayStation while the adults relax in the living room.



Outdoors, there’s plenty of sunshine throughout the day, and on nice days, it’s easy to move your meal outside. Nesbyen Alpine is just 800 meters away, and the cross-country ski trails start right outside the cabin. The Golf Café is a short walk away and welcomes guests whether they play golf or not.



Nesbyen’s town center, 15 km away, has Rema 1000, Spar, and Kiwi stores that are also open on Sundays, as well as the Bear House café with freshly baked bread and pastries. Nesbyen Alpine organizes après-ski events, dog sledding, and quiz nights during the winter season. In the summer, Hallingspranger—a family-friendly 17-km bike trail—is a popular destination, and bikes are available for rent nearby.
