The house on the mound is somewhat tucked away and...

The house on the mound is somewhat tucked away and looks rather unassuming from the courtyard side. But as soon as you open the door, you immediately feel at home. Everything feels inviting, cozy, and tastefully decorated. The many windows ensure bright, light-filled rooms and, of course, a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. If you’re looking for peace and seclusion, this is the perfect place for you. Weather permitting, you can spend the whole day relaxing in a beach chair on your own terrace, and the evening can wind down by a cozy fire in the wood-burning stove. Another big plus of the apartment is the spacious kitchen, which is fully equipped, features a large dining table, and offers a view of nature. We even had some deer stop by for breakfast once. By the way, the internet worked flawlessly. The immediate surroundings offer running routes on paved farm roads between fields and meadows—though, of course, a car might pass by now and then. It’s about a 15- to 20-km drive to the North Sea at Dagebüll, Schlüttsiel, or Lüttmoorsiel. A trip to a Hallig is highly recommended.
