Situated on the lake and ideal for snowmobile adventures, with easy access to the hundreds of miles of groomed snowmachine trails in the area.

4000 sq ft, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a 2000 sq foot deck. Perfectly appointed in contemporary farmhouse decor, this home features 5 bedrooms, including a bunkroom with six beds for the perfect family or friend group accommodations. Two bedrooms have full size beds. Two bedrooms feature queen beds and en suite.

The "rec room" overlooks the lake, boasting lofted ceilings, ping pong table, authentic arcade unit with 60 games, large digital tv with comfy leather lounging couches. Tv equipped with Netflix, hbo, Amazon prime and more.

3 miles from the nearest grocery story, yet far enough way from a real city, this lake retreat features an outdoor hot tub overlooking the lake and a perfect vantage for the regular appearance of Aurora Borealis.

75 minute drive from Anchorage, 3 hours to Denali. Big Lake airport is 3 miles from property, accessible by private charter flights. Glacier viewing flights a short drive, and fishing, rafting, mountains biking adventures nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at this Big Lake house! The property was exactly as advertised —comfortable, and perfect for our group. The lake access and views were absolutely stunning, and being right on the water made it an outdoor adventure dream. We spent our days enjoying the beautiful scenery, and it was the ideal spot to relax and take in all that Alaska has to offer. Highly recommend!

We had a very pleasant stay at this property. It has gorgeous lake views and a spacious hot tub. It was also a convenient location for so many attractions from Denali down to Seward. Would recommend to anyone looking for a private home base to enjoy their Alaska vacation.

Exceeds expectation in everyway

The pictures do not do justice to this house and it’s location. The house was much larger than we were expecting which gave our group a chance to seperate and do different activities. The deck and Lake are the standout features. Entering the home for the first time and looking around gives you the feeling of relaxation. We rented a jet ski and pontoon boat to explore the lake and the rental shop was close to the house. The owners were awesome answering questions promptly. You will not regret staying here.

Beautiful lake house!!

Awesome family getaway. The layout and room accommodations were perfect for us, six adults. Waking up to the sunrise & lake view from the master bedroom was amazing! The weather during our stay was rainy so we couldn’t fully enjoy swimming, boating or fishing off the dock. Loved cozying up with a book in the sunroom, bbq’ing some salmon from our catch on the Kenai, hot tub time, ping pong tournaments, giant jenga, Pac-Man & movie nights. We made day trips to Talkeetna & Denali National Park. Coffee stand and Three Bears grocery are just minutes away. Easy check in and communication with Kristina. We would definitely recommend staying here ❤️ thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Property

The lake house was great for our family. Kristina was very responsive and accommodating. We recreated on the lake with our snowmachines everyday, and having a nice place to come back to in the evenings was absolutely perfect. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook. The only downside was the hot tub was not operational, so you may want to check with the host prior to booking. The hot tub was one of the reasons we booked it, so it was a real bummer to our kids when they found out it wasn't working. Regardless, everything else on the property was fantastic.

Large home on lake

This trip was for my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday. There was 10 of us total. Overall the house is amazing. Lots of places to sit, 2 fireplaces, a huge deck, and lots of windows to enjoy the view. The kitchen is large and the dining room has a large table. The rec room has a ping pong table, classic arcade game, and more. Beds were fairly comfortable. It seems the owners spend a lot of time at the house as there is quite a bit of their personal stuff there to the point that there was nowhere to unpack as closets were full and marked private. Overall, I would highly recommend this house on Big Lake.

We had a wonderful stay here at this lake house. We stayed here and traveled daily to different cities for hiking and tours. We had 9 people in our party - 4 adults and 5 teens. This was a great place to relax at after the end of the day from hiking and our activities. We enjoyed spending time in the sunroom, on the deck at night, and relaxing in the hot tub. Kristin was great at communicating and answered all questions I had. For reference, we flew to Anchorage and stayed the first night in a hotel. The next morning we drove to Denali and stayed two nights there and then headed to this lake house and spent the last five nights here. During our stay, we took day trips to Hatcher’s Pass, white water rafting (Matanuska River) and glacier hiking (Matanuska glacier). We also ventured down to Seward for a 6 hr cruise through the Kenai Fjords. The driving to these places in Alaska was beautiful. The lake house was well stocked and our teens all enjoyed the kayaking and paddle boarding too! Take advantage of the midnight sun while you are there. Our first trip to Alaska was one we will never forget!

Over the rainbow!!

What a Great Lake house! Our host , Kristina was in contact with me all the way. She was wonderful. The house is equipped with everything you would ever be looking for and the view from the deck in just beautiful. We saw three rainbows while we were there. We rented a pontoon boat for our stay, to fish and explore the lake. It was the perfect place to relax on the end of our two weeks visiting Alaska. Someday, we will visit again!

Fabulous house on Big Lake

This property has everything you need and more for a wonderful holiday. The deck overlooking the lake is huge and the views are beautiful! The game room with ping pong table, board games and arcade is ideal for rainy days. Kristina was very responsive and made some recommendations for boat rentals so that we can explore the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future.

Amazing staycation!

We are local Alaskans (2 families- party size of 11) who rent on Big Lake every summer. For our 5th anniversary we wanted to stay at a larger home as our kids quickly outgrew our previous rental location. We hit the jackpot with this home. Some call them lake "cabins", but this was nothing short of total luxury on the water. The host was friendly, gracious, and accommodating. We hope to return next summer for our 6th year at Big Lake and for more years to come!

Absolutely Amazing Property

Perfect in everyway and every detail! My large family rented this property for a very special trip of remembrance - an intimate time together and this place was perfect! We were able to cook together, lounge, play games and enjoy the beauty around us. The home is spectacular - every detail covered. Beds were comfortable, showers perfect and plenty of room for all us. We especially loved the many different areas of the house to hold conversations or for small groups to gather - very special place. We are so grateful we were able to stay here - it was hard to leave. Breathtaking!

Tim and Kristina’s home is beautiful and the immaculate landscape is right in a serene lake setting. Pictures on-line did not do it justice!
