BEFORE we can accept a reservation we require information about your group to help ensure that our property will be a good fit for your needs.
Please ignore the VRBO language about no refunds... their system won't remove the statement however it does not apply to our property - the rental agreement that we both will sign will be in force and it includes our standard cancellation policy.
A word about our Rates.
VRBO's new format of their Rates section makes it impractical for us to input every possible rate combination for 365 days a year. The rates that VRBO automatically provides are often incorrect. Our apologies - we provide exact quotes in our responses.
Holiday Stays are $790 per night and there may be a minimum stay requirement based on the Holiday. Also in the Summer months we rent by the week only. Contact owner about possible shorter stays.
Edgetts Lodge sleeps 30 in its 6 bedrooms.
You won’t see Edgetts Lodge at first. You will see the big sign carved by a local artisan and the drive curving through 38 pristine and private acres of old-growth red pines. It takes a few minutes to get there, but when the lodge comes into view it is well worth the anticipation.
Built from the huge red pines taken right from the property, Edgetts Lodge is 5,100 square feet of hand hewn rustic log luxury and sky scraping windows. It sits high above a riverbank with a breathtaking view of the Pine River; one of Michigan’s most beautiful and unspoiled blue-ribbon trout streams.
Edgetts Lodge property runs on both sides of the river and the Pine is designated as a “Federal Wild and Scenic River” - rated one of the Mid-West’s best for kayaking and canoeing. You will see white tail deer, wild turkeys and even bald eagles in the forest. The lodge property is good for all seasons activities: trout fishing, angling, hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing to name a few…
As you enter the lodge, it will feel like you have come home – the perfect combination of indoor comfort and wraparound porches and decks. The lacquered pine walls, the trophies and special details: you are bathed in the golden glow. On the first floor, there is a spacious great room with a field-stone fireplace, a gourmet kitchen, formal dining room and a master suite with private balcony. Downstairs is a fully equipped, ground floor game-room with a cozy, field-stone fireplace and 2 separate “bunkhouse” bedrooms and full bathroom.
The upper floor boasts a second master suite and private balcony, a family room with built-in media room and large screen TV and two additional, multi bunk bedrooms (known affectionately as the Bear Room and the Moose Room).
All in all, Edgetts Lodge sleeps 30 comfortably. There is a game closet, a laundry room, 3 ½ bathrooms and panoramic views of the Pine River and the surrounding woods. Whether you are a family celebrating a milestone birthday or anniversary; a group of friends getting away from it all; or couples on a romantic holiday, the Lodge is the place to call “home” for a week or a weekend.
