About this property

Quiet spot next to Acropolis

Charming, newly renovated ground floor apartment, 46 m2, just around the corner from Acropolis, tucked in a small, quiet street on the slope towards the famous sight. Located in a walking distance from many great tourist attractions, such as Herodion theatre, Ancient Agora, Temple of Olympian Zeus, the old Panathenaic Stadium and others, all this in the well-liked neighborhood of Koukaki. There are two Metro stations in a 5 and 8 min walking distance – Syggrou Fix and Acropolis, with tram, numerous bus lines, taxes and sightseeing vehicles close by.

It has a living room together with kitchen, separate peaceful bedroom, and a nice bathroom. All the furniture, machines and equipment are completely new. Ideal for two persons, but it could offer space for 4 as well. Besides the comfortable king–size bed, there is a sofa-bed which can be turned into a restful large bed for two. Fully equipped, with all the necessary utensils, bedding, towels and other needful things, to meet the needs of travelers and provide a pleasant stay.

We stayed in this apt for a whole month! The apt was decorated lovely, pristine clean, in an ideal location (within steps of the Acropolis), a short walk to a couple of metro stations, near all kinds of shops, markets, bakeries and fabulous authentic Greek restaurants. It was stocked with amazing amenities (bottles of white wine and glasses laid out upon our arrival, a pkg of pistachios, a carton of orange juice, coffee, creamers and sugar for the morning, every type of toiletry you would ever need in the cabinet of the bathroom and all the kitchen utensils you wood need). The host provides books and printed materials about Athens and Greece so everything is there for you to plan your visit. The host was gracious, friendly, spoke terrific English and let us know when there were special events in town like Greek Independence Day, Protests so we knew where to stay clear of those days, as well as a fresh fruit and vegetable market around the corner every Friday. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Athens.
