About this property

Real Mountain Cabin with access to Fish Lake

This small cabin has the true charm of a cozy cabin in the woods.
It is perfect for 2 adults for a weekend getaway or a retreat for one. There is a peek-a-boo view of Fish Lake and it's only a short walk to the community beach with a dock. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a cozy woodstove. Outside, there is a covered back deck for relaxing.

A sleeping loft with a queen bed is up a steep set of stairs so please be prepared and look at our photo of the staircase.

Winter info:
4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle is required for the driveway in the winter months. The county road is plowed out front and we maintain the driveway. It is not a really steep or long driveway but near the top it requires the extra help of a 4 wheel/all wheel drive vehicle. We are not responsible for guests not being able to make it over the pass in snowy conditions, therefore, refunds for weather conditions will only be offered if both Stevens Pass and Snoqualmie Pass are closed and/or it is too dangerous to travel, as determined by the WSDOT.

Stevens Pass is 30 minutes away and Leavenworth is 25 minutes away.

The cabin was perfection. Had all the modern conveniences, like a fridge, shower, toilet, and comfy bed in a quaint rustic setting. Owners were responsive and helpful! Loved the area, very close to good cross-country skiing and winter hiking spots! A gorgeous drive to Leavenworth as well. We'll be back for sure. Thank you!

Jane was absolutely the best. She was quick to respond to all my messages and was very gracious! The cabin is exactly as advertised! Cute and cozy! It’s the perfect place for snowmobiling! It’s close to the sno park so one could ride out from the cabin. We didn’t because there wasn’t enough snow on the road! The wood stove was perfect after a long day of snowmobiling! I would highly recommend this place! You won’t be disappointed.

Great little cabin

Nice little cabin close to Lake Wenatchee. The dock on fish lake is nice but if you go there in evening- hope you like spiders! Back deck was really nice to hang out on.

Quiet get away

Nice little cozy cabin. Very quiet and peaceful. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the lake with a community dock for fishing. Recommend if you want a quiet restful getaway.

Perfect Fish Lake Getaway!

This is our second time here and we'll definitely be back for a third! Lake access is just a short walk down the hill and perfect for relaxing and fishing from the dock. Tons of outdoor space great for grilling and lounging in the sun. Jane is a fantastic host and super responsive. Thanks for another lovely Leavenworth trip!

Great Weekend Getaway

Sweet cabin for a winter getaway!

Sweet little cabin...this was our second visit and in spite of some issues caused by the severely cold weather we enjoyed our stay! We really like the wood stove and the proximity to winter activity spots! Will stay here again when we can!

This cabin bears the name of the original owners and is a throwback to early cabins around the lake.
These small and cozy cabins are being torn down and replaced by large cookie cutter homes with not much character. Enjoy an opportunity to stay in a true cabin from yesteryear.
