Bottom floor guest house offering two bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen and living room. Master features Queen bed, guest bedroom offers two twin beds. Living room has comfy couch with flat screen television. Kitchen with double sink, smooth service stove, built in microwave and fridge. Enjoy the dock and boat ramp, fire pit, 2 kayaks, 2 bicycles, and charcoal grill. Walking distance to Back Water Fins, grill and bar. Sit on the porch and read a book or cast a line. Watch the dolphins and otters cruise by! Beautiful sunrises! Perfect for a weekend get-a-way or scalloping, or snowbirds! Come for a weekend or stay for a while. We are off the beaten path and a rare find anymore in Florida. Just the 5 mile drive down Ozello Trail is something to see. Kingfishers, Egrets, Eagles, Heron's and so many more native birds can be seen on just the drive down! It's old Florida living, the way it used to be. There is no washer and dryer but the laundry mat is only right up the road. We don't want you doing laundry while your here! Take it home with you and enjoy the stay. Enjoy one of the many tiki huts. Play your music, watch a football game. Bring a cooler of beer and sit on the dock or walk next door and enjoy lunch or fresh shrimp or blue crab locally caught! We look forward to seeing you soon. Upstairs is not included in rental as owner lives upstairs but is hardly ever there and as cool as can be. Play your music, make a fire, smoke a cigar and don't worry about a care in the world.

We have a pet peacock. He will eat peanuts out of your hand if you are still. DO NOT let pets or kids chase him.

Everything we could possibly need was provided. The place was so much more than I could have imagined. It was peaceful, beautiful location, and comfortable. The host was available when needed but not intrusive. The tiki bar and huts were amazing and we definitely plan to visit again!!! AWESOME!!!

There is lots to do around Ozello and Crystal River. You got fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming with the manatees, and just enjoying nature. But you will never find people as nice as in Ozello. Kathi, who owns the place, is as sweet as they come. There is a pet peacock, that comes around for peanuts. He will eat right out of your hand. The place is quite unique. Kind of, the old Florida Keys, with beautiful pictures that Kathi's mom did. So, come and check out Ozello.

Perfect place to relax by the water. Nearby restaurant—Backwater Fins—had great seafood (Blue crab bisque and stuffed Cajun angels recommended). Short drive to Crystal River. We loved the daily visits from Ozzy, the resident peacock. Great place overall!

The pictures don't do this place justice - it was better than expected! The indoor space was clean and had everything we needed. The host has thought of every detail; the decorations and furnishings are so thoughtful! The outdoor space is gorgeous - there is literally a full size tiki bar! Our favorite part was Ozzy the peacock! He was the highlight of our trip! I loved waking up early and walking outside to Ozzy trotting over to greet me and ask for peanuts, which he will eat out of your hand! He even followed us to dinner at Blackwater Fins - walkable and the best food we had the whole trip! We will definitely be back to stay with Kathi and Ozzy!

This charming property is just as advertised. Downstairs apartment with free access to waterfront yard and alll amenities. Owner Kathi lives upstairs. She is an outstanding host, very friendly, relaxed, and responsive to all needs. Oz the peacock is delightful. Ozello Keys is laid back and full of friendly folks. Away from the tourist areas but close enough to all the highlights of the Crystal River area. Lots of birds and manatees! Highly recommend!

This was by far one of my favorite stays of all time! I would give 10 stars if possible. The place was not only adorable and well stocked with every comfort you need, but our host went above and beyond to make aure my visiting family had everything we needed. Its the perfect location if you want to be a little out of town but walking distance to a great bar. Would return anytime. Thank you for having us!

We rented this place for my husband's 60th birthday. The house was even better than expeted. The location perfect: right on the water so we could fish and close to many springs for paddling. Kathy was very welcoming and did enjoyed their company around the fire. It was the perfect geteway and i am sure we will be back!

This place was perfect for us. It is a little off the beaten path and the whole area is full of Old Florida charm. The kitchen had everything we needed and the rooms were comfortable. It is close to Crystal River if you need supplies but it is far enough away to feel like a real escape. The sunrises and sunsets are magical and you can fish right out the front door. There were also a ton of family-friendly activities in the area. We visited the archeological park, ate some amazing food and we paddled with manatees. We enjoyed a lovely New Years Eve campfire with the hosts to top off our stay. We highly recommend this little refuge for anyone who needs a family getaway.
