About the host
Hosted by Rick Gillies
Hello my name is Rick Gillies and I currently live in Windsor, Ontario with roots in Port Hood, Cape Breton. I have spent many a summer, spring or fall in Port Hood and I can say it is my favourite place on earth. The rolling hills, smell of the sea breezes and the friendly people, all make your stay memorable. My father purchased this property just after the war and we spent summers at the small cottage at the bottom on the hill. Now my family and I have built a four-plex with spectacular views of the ocean to enjoy and share with others. This luxury condominium complex is a home away from home. I have many family members in the surrounding lands who will welcome you and assist if you need any support with your stay. Best wishes and have fun!
