This fully serviced beachfront villa sleeps up to 12 guests. Our talented chef and friendly housekeeping team are here to make sure you can truly relax while enjoying the gorgeous Placencia beachfront. Plus, there are 4 smaller units available on the same property, rented separately (also sleeping up to 12 in total) , just ask if you need more space!.

The house was very comfortable for our group, but we also booked the two apartments next-door. We need a few more bedrooms for our 10. The pool and the area around it were perfect for us. We had Chef Jim cook four meals for us and they were very delicious. We designed our own menus. The staff was warm and friendly.

Amazing stay

We loved everything about this beautiful home. Our chef Jim was so kind and a wonderful cook, Velma and other housekeepers were wonderful. It is clean, right on the beach, great communication with hosts! Easy walk into town.

Great Vacation

We had a great stay in Belize - house was beautiful, staff was friendly and helpful, the location was easy to access Placencia. We had a great trip and hope to be back in the future!

Dive Trip

Pictures don't do the property justice. Wonderfully manicured and maintained property. Chef George and Candy were wonderful and the food was great! The lionfish that we got while diving and they prepared was the best fish I've had. Thanks for a great week!

Everything and more!

The property is even more beautiful in person. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Our every need or request was taken care of. Ocean front property, very comfortable beds, super cooling AC in the bedrooms, very clean, great location, plus a chef/bartender and 2 ladies keeping everything clean and tidy including laundry!! Highly recommend Ohana! It was exceptional.

Beautiful Experience

The pool cabana was rented to someone else so that was a bit uncomfortable as it was very close to the main house There is no A/C in the living areas of the house, but the bedrooms were air conditioned… The weather was perfect and the evening winds made it perfect to remain outside until we were ready for bed.. The owners were lovely

AMAZING!

Just returned from an amazing stay at this beautiful property. It is truly special. The house is every bit as impressive as the pictures. We took advantage of everything it had to offer. Volleyball, golf, pool table, games, kayaks, gorgeous pool, beach and walk to town. George and Candy cook and manage the property. They are the kindest people and took wonderful care of us. We are so grateful for our time at Ohana house. If you're looking for the perfect family vacation this home is it!

We absolutely loved our time at Ohana house. It is incredibly accommodating, stylish, comfortable and in an amazing location. The house is spotless and the caretakers, George and Candy, are the most lovely people. Our hosts were so helpful! Isabelle rescued my husband when the power went out and his zoom meeting was compromised. She went above and beyond to get him some WiFi. I can’t say enough how perfect the location, the environment, the views, and mostly, the energy and vibe of the place and our hosts. It’s filled with love. You will not be disappointed!

Incredible house

My friends and I booked this house to celebrate a 40th Birthday and it couldn't have gone better. Everyone enjoyed the stay. The house is beautiful and the pool with the ocean within view was amazing. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks, kayaking, and play volleyball as well. We also enjoyed the Placencia beach club next door with a swim up pool bar and the walk to town by path behind the house was very easy. We booked a catamaran tour with Nautical Adventures that was probably the best catamaran tour I've ever been on. The Monkey river tour with Captain Jak's that was great too. Our chef Ricardo made every meal delicious. He truly made the stay even more special. I can't imagine anyone not enjoy their stay here. It was everything we hoped it would be and so much more. Thank you Isabelle (owner) for all your help in making our stay a trip we will never forget.

Unbelievably Amazing

I have stayed in a number of villas and properties and this is hands-down the BEST. Our family rented the house, as well as the two apartments and cabana that are also located on the property. The pictures 100% depict the beauty of the property but it's even more stunning in real life - the grounds are beautiful, house has all the amenities listed and that you would need, pool is amazing, and the house staff outstanding. Chef George was a delight and his food was a highlight of the trip. Placencia has amazing restaurants but it was hard to leave knowing we had George preparing meals. He takes great pride in his craft and was even gracious enough to share recipes and traditions with our family - going as far as giving the girls a fry jack lesson. Isabelle was so accommodating as we navigated a large family trip, helping us with pre-booking excursions and massages and was always responsive and helpful during our trip. This property has everything you need for an amazing vacation.

Perfect family spot

First, the owners were amazing and went out of their way to communicate and help you plan. They even showed up the morning of our departure to bid farewell. We had 12 people, great grand parents, grand parents, parents, and kids. House was more than spacious. The layout was great with 2 masters down stairs and other bedrooms on 2nd floor. The staff was there daily cleaning and washing. That was a big plus and made the trip more relaxing. They even washed our personal clothes and laid them out on the bed. OMG, the pool over looks the beach and ocean. The beach was like having a private area. The house was located 100yds from Chill Point Coffee and Ice Cream shop. Open early and late with food available. Overall this place was amazing and was perfectly located! I give it 10 stars out of 5

Incredible!!!

Our family of ten, two grandparents, six parents and four children between 10 and 7yrs, spent a week in this beautiful home. There was a maid on staff everyday which kept our messiness under control and even did laundry! Best of all was our chef, Ricardo, who cooked breakfast and dinner for us all seven days. We were always surprised and never disappointed with Richardo's meals and we all put on a few pounds. Belizing.com shuttled us to and from the airport in Belize City so no other transportation was needed. We arranged tours with Privasea Adventures (a short walk to downtown and their boat dock) to Monkey River and Laughing Bird Caye; Truly Wild Belize's tour to Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve picked us up at the house. This home is private yet everything is within walking distance from grocery store to bars to restaurants. Other than the three tours which I highly recommend, our family enjoyed the space at Ohana which included kayaks, volleyball, climbing wall and golf putting green. Hours were spent in the swimming pool and on the hammocks. It was like an all inclusive resort only much better!

Can never look at vacationing any other way!

There is so much to say about the Ohana house- that I’m sure I’ll miss something! The home was, by all means, the best vacation rental we’ve stayed in. As a group of 8 adults and 4 kids- we had everything we needed/wanted and more. The home was immaculate. You can easily tell that it is a loved home and they intend of keeping it that way while rented, not just a burn- and - turn rental. The sidewalk path is minutes to the village, grocery store just a short 5 min walk.. beach at your finger tips. You have everything you need centrally. While the house itself was perfect, we can not rave enough about Chef Freddy. Not only we’re his meals delicious, he made us feel at home in every way possible and made sure we had everything we needed! We loved chef Freddy’s cooking so much, we ate there 90% breakfast/lunch/dinner during our week stay. The housekeepers holly and krista were the sweetest and always made sure our rooms were clean. The entire staff even played and loved my 3 year old and 7 month old when they could! Although only a week, it felt like family! Boy, has Ohana set a new standard for vacationing for us. We loved our stay and plan on being back! Thank you!

Excellent location and pretty ideal situation!

Overall, we really enjoyed this house! The pros: AWESOME house for people who love games - I won't list them all to ruin the surprise but we had so much fun playing with all of the options they have! The two girls who cleaned were incredible...they were efficient and delivered 5-star service (we have stayed at top notch hotels and they were on par with that type of service)! The walk into town is so cute...you can either walk down the main (only) road or the back path. It's adorable. Little shops and coffee shops. Favorite thing for sure on the penninsula was Tutti Frutti - italian gelato...found out the owner is indeed from Italy. We went every. single. day. RumFish is fantastic and Turtle Inn was excellent! Cons: mosquitos. I cannot stress this enough. Nobody wants to wear the repellent and you wait until you are at a point where you have to - don't do that! My 16yo has 65 bites ... we literally counted. A lot of these were from the tubing excursion but we all certainly got them at the house. Spray the minute you wake up daily and save yourself some serious regret. The beach was unfortunately dirty. Not just in front of Ohana but the entire beach...it is just not a priority and obviously a difficult problem to solve. It didn't affect our lives as we walked the path in and out of town but people who enjoy laying out on the beach probably wouldn't be thrilled.

Placencia, oh how I love thee...1 wk at this beautiful property and wish could've stayed longer!

Pros: * Location, location, location: It's in a prime spot on beach, on sidewalk path that goes straight into town less than 12min walk, and literally steps away from the Placencia Club Resort for delish drinks and food. * Gorgeous pool with perfect depth of 5 ft - safe for the kids with the life vests to swim. * Great outdoor area on the beach. Volleyball court, put-put golf, rock-climbing, sand castle/beach toys for the kids and floats for the adults. * Comfortable beds and plenty of room for large groups. * Tranquil area of Placencia - felt like we had our own little oasis. * Perfect location as we were right next to the "PLACENCIA" colorful city sign for perfect photo & selfie opportunities. * Great hosts - the chef and maid were there daily providing impeccable service. * Friendly people in the area * Food/restaurant options very closeby * Safety - Felt very safe for our family with little ones. Locking mechanisms on exterior gates and garage door. All doors to the home equipped with lockable shutters as well. Cons: * No a/c in the common areas. It was hot in the beginning of Sept--but it was not as hot as the middle of the summer. So I can imagine being drenched in sweat during a different time period of the year. Yes, I live in humidity year-round, but I still appreciate having a/c throughout a home. So definitely a big con - as we could not enjoy the 2nd floor of the home. They had fans but it could not help the sauna that the heat created. We did not get to enjoy the pool table/foosball/game area. * This was just our group experience -- we were looking forward to having chef food service every day. We did not expect every single meal, but it was explained that each day we would be advised which meals to expect and to go over the food meal options with the chef as he would be doing the daily grocery store run. Unfortunately, we were only able to enjoy 5 days out of the 8 days we were there of the chef's delicious meals. I understand family emergencies -- we have 2 little ones, we completely empathize with his situation. What I didn't understand was why wasn't another chef called to fill in? * Construction - The owners recently purchased the lots adjoining the property so you could hear the loud noises of construction happening every day @ 8am. I know this is a temporary nuisance, but be aware. * Excursions - boat excursion mishap! Try finding someone else other than Kenroy! *Bugs - this was huge pain! Sprayed every day & still was bit.

Amazing stay at Ohana.

I am very particular about where I stay on vacations and I can state emphatically that you will have a phenomenal stay at Ohana Beach House. From the perfect location at the end of the boardwalk, to Isabelle the wore who was fantastic and George and Candy who made us feel at home, it was an amazing trip. The house itself was beautiful inside and out. The new pool was a perfect combo to the inviting ocean yards away not to mention the added extras like the pool table, 2 golf holes, sea kayak and so much more making it the perfect stay. If you are considering a stay in Placencia, do yourself a favor and book Ohana Beach House. You will be very happy with the decision.
