Gorgeous little escape in Gibson’s. Pet friendly with all the things a dog needs - toys, blankets and dog beds! Christine is a brilliant host and made us most comfortable in her little cottage. Great attention to detail from the deep brown wood floors to the pebble floored shower. Loved it!

This is a magical spot. As soon as you arrive you feel relaxed and welcome. Lots of places to walk with your dog and close to many restaurants. Great place to just disconnect and enjoy nature. The hostess was amazing.

Perfect coastal stay

I stayed here with my mom and our two small dogs and it was perfect. The location is steps away from the marina and the path to all the shops and restaurants in Gibsons. The suite is just what you need and the windows look out to a well kept garden and small park. I'd happily stay here next time I visit the Sunshine Coast.

Great Cottage

Beautiful little cottage walking distance to the marina, market, shops and restaurants in Lower Gibsons. There was everything we needed, along with some nice extra touches. The owner, Christine, is a lovely lady. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Great Location- Beautiful Accommodations

This is a great location to walk around the town and the beach. The cottage and the grounds are georgeous. Christine is a great host.

I loved having Kimberly and her partner here. They came with two very well behaved dogs and during the course of 5 days I didn’t hear one sound! They left the suite in mint condition and are welcome back anytime!! Very nice to meet you all!

Great Fall Getaway

Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

My partner and I are so happy with our stay. We stayed right on the water, and our dog absolutely loved it. We were able to relax, enjoy the town, and were only a short drive to Sechelt. I highly recommend staying here.

Great spot

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lucky Dog. It is walking distance into Gibsons but is also nice and quiet. Christine was a fantastic host who was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a couple who want a quiet break!

Great getaway

Christine was a wonderful host and her suite was perfect for my wife and I. Great views of the marina from the wonderful garden and walking distance to the town of Gibson’s. We had a lovely time and would recommend this place for a getaway.

Perfect access to all the amenities. The harbour is right behind the property

We loved how dog friendly the place was as we have 2 dogs. A basket of toys awaiting our furry travelers when we arrived. The room was cozy and had everything we needed.

Charming Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at The Lucky Dog. The cozy cottage was very comfortable and clean. The property is beautiful, just steps away to the seawalk, and very close to restaurants and shops. Christine was very kind and attentive. Would definitely stay here again.

I was born in Toronto, moved to British Columbia in the early 1980's and love it here. Have lived in Victoria, then Vancouver and now in Gibsons. I love the outdoors, so this is the place for me!

Why they chose this property

This is a one of a kind property and house. Built in the 1930's as a beach house. It has been renovated many times and I am now the fortunate owner of a lovely home on the water.

What makes this property unique

Cute and charming. Gorgeous old wooden floors, amazing views of the marina and beyond. Beautiful nooks and crannies.
