Everything was excellent as always. The only thing I would complain about is there are some cobwebs in the corner above the tub area. Also, the front porch area needs a good cleaning.
This is a great place to stay while in the Boone area. Perfect for my husband, me and our two dogs. Only complaint is that the ceiling fan is very noisy, but that is an easy fix! We’ll be back!

No complaints. The weather was perfect and Sleepy Hollow was ideal! The cabin was very clean and what a view from the back porch! We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine sitting and watching the different wildlife ease by. Saw deer, raccoon, and plenty of chipmunks!!

Wonderful to hear that you were able to enjoy natures bounty!
Loved the property. The mattress needs replacing. Lumpy and hard

Thank you so much for taking the time to share. We welcome all feedback and use each review as a tool to deliver the very best vacation rental experience possible. Your concerns regarding the mattress has been relayed to our owner service teams for immediate evaluation and replacement if needed.
I had a pleasant stay at the property. I arrived later than expected so it's extremely dark and hard to navigate. I also had problems with a signal to my GPS or emails. That was completely my fault though. I should have read all the emails and screenshot things I needed for finding the cabin before I arrived. The little outside deck was my favorite! Peaceful coffee and wine time.
Cute cabin. Directions need to be corrected as it had us turn right off of Shulls Mill Road coming from Blowing rock instead of left.
Would also be helpful to have book or instructions at house about how to work heat, tv and where to put the trash. Also unable to find potholders in the kitchen.

Thank You for the feedback. We hope to see you again soon!
Sleepy Hollow was well supplied with everything you might need even the double sinks in the bathroom. Perfect for the two of us. We did miss our usual tv channels, CBS, ABC, METV when we were in the cabin and not exploring the mountains. Did not see the $50 gift card to the GameKeeper restaurant that was mentioned online. Loved the location, close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Thanks for a very enjoyable experience.
I rarely complete reviews but we enjoyed our stay here so much, I thought I would. This is a perfect cabin for a couples getaway! It was extremely clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. We didn’t notice any issues with the “squeaky bed” as others have mentioned. There were many hiking trails nearby and Blowing Rock had plenty of food options and nice entertainment district. We will definitely come back to this one!
Perfect, cozy cabin in the mountains. Very comfortable and close to Blowing Rock and many trails. Nice perk to have a gift certificate to the Gamekeeper Restaurant that’s literally across the street.

Great place to relax.
We went for our 47th anniversary and had a great time. The cabin was clean and ready for our stay and the view from the living room door to the deck was breath-taking. We were minutes from Blowing Rock and Boone. Our only complaint, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, the bed was uncomfortably firm (hard) and not conducive for someone with back problems. Oh, believe the warning about having chains available and/or 4 wheel/all wheel drive during snow season. The road to the location is curvy and narrow. Also, if you plan to eat out and because of the virus, check the restaurants in the area for times open and if reservations are required. Many of the restaurants may be book up a week ahead of your stay. We hope to stay there again.

Wonderful Place For a Few Days in the Mountains
Excellent location, view, and very clean. Appreciate the $50 coupon for the across-the-street restaurant (which we used) otherwise prices would have been a little steep to go there. The only suggestion I would make, for the rental price of this unit, sometimes weather conditions dictate staying longer than one wants during a given day (a lot of rain and fog for us) so having some premium TV channels would be expected.
Close to Blowing Rock and great hiking trails with a great view!

Perfect Place to enjoy the NC mountains!
As noted in other reviews, Sleepy Hollow was very clean and ready when we arrived. Perfect for 2 people. Each space was nicely furnished and the bathroom was very up to date. Kitchen area has all that is needed for simple meals or snacks. Deck area perfect for end of the day beverages. Parking so close to cabin for easy unloading/ loading. A visit to the Gamekeeper was a delight- many thanks! We will certainly come and stay again.

Cute cottage in perfect location
Really enjoyed my stay. Great location between Boone & Blowing Rock -close to grocery stores, restaurants, parks/trails & Blue Ridge Parkway. Only concern I had was there was no place to take trash on the property & when calling the reservations team they tried to assist but had information that was no longer correct. However, they offered to come pick up the trash themselves - so very happy with the customer service! Would definitely recommend staying here & I plan to book again in the future.

Place was nice clean and cute! Bed is very noisy! Literally can't breathe too deep and the bed makes noises! Nice jet tub but water doesn't stay hot enough to fill it up. The screen door was struggling to work. Then when we went to breakfast the day of check out we came back at 10:30 and the cleaning crew had already entered and started cleaning.. we were upset.. check out isn't till 11! They used the excuse since our car wasn't there they assumed we had left... not cool!!

Sleepy Hollow
holes in the screens preventing open windows or doors, tile separating in the bathroom, also surprised at a 3% plus tax on the security deposit return
We had a great stay at Sleepy Hollow. It’s in an excellent location - close to both downtown Boone and Blowing Rock if you want to head into town and it’s also located near a few restaurants and awesome hiking spots. Also very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We hiked a 5 mi loop at Julian Price Memorial Park and it was one of the most beautiful hikes we’ve done! We were pleased with the high degree of mask usage in the area in these times and felt safe being about. The cottage itself has a great view of the mountains. You aren’t completely secluded in this spot and you may see some neighbors but there is still a degree of privacy. Easy check in and check out and the cottage was comfortable. Note to the owner, the screen door to the patio is in need of a fix - a little tricky to open. Great place to stay, would definitely stay again!

Just right for us.
Comfortable and clean with a nice view off the deck. We didn't have as much hot water as needed to enjoy the jetted tub. There needs to be some dog litter disposal units in the neighborhood. We don't have a dog, but someone dumped their poop bags at the bottom of the entrance to Sleepy Hollow cabin.

Just Perfect
Sleepy Hollow was just perfect.
The cabin is the best size ,enough to spread out but not too big.
We enjoyed the large tub ,great porch and gas fire place .
Maybe add a frying pan to make eggs in the morning.
The bed was a good size and very comfortable .
The view was really nice and serene.
