Welcome to Sunrise Village 104!

Construction Update: Repair work is ongoing at the south end of complex. You may notice some noise (8am-5pm weekdays), scaffolding, and equipment on-site. Little to no disruption at this condo. Beach access remains open, and the pool is available. The most disruptive portions of the project have already been completed. Welcome to your perfect beach retreat! This recently remodeled two-bedroom, one-bath condo is designed for ultimate comfort and style, accommodating up to 6 guests. Dive into relaxation with brand-new GE stainless steel appliances and fresh, cozy mattresses from Nectar (Queen & Full size) and Caspar (Twin size), all added in 2024. Enjoy sleek new flooring throughout the condo, installed in April 2024.

The living area features a newly upgraded sleeper sofa, and each room is equipped with wall-mounted TVs and DVD players. For entertainment, unwind with a NEW 43" Ultra HD SMART TV(added Feb 2025) with DVD in the living room, another 43" SMART TV in the bunk room, and a new 42" LG smart TV in the queen room (added Oct 2024).

Stay connected and powered up with USB/Bluetooth speaker charging docks and outlets in every room, including a convenient charging spot at the kitchen bar.

No smoking on site at the complex except in designated area. No exceptions. Please read below for the full details.*

Our condo is smoke-free, with smoking only permitted in the designated area. We also provide a recently replaced Bosch HE Washer and ventless Dryer (please use HE detergent only) for your convenience.

Condo is close to town, only 2.0 miles west of Hwy 59, directly on the beach.

Parking for two cars directly under this first floor condo. No private balcony, but large breezeway for seating, just steps from the white sand beach. Complex also has a small pool.

Convenience store Waves Beach mart, The Beach House Kitchen, Island Ice Cream, and S & S Seafood Market conveniently located across the street, everything you need is within reach

Grilling area also (no grills provided). Non-Smoking Unit. Oversize vehicles will not fit in the parking spot. Trailers, high top vans, boats, etc are not allowed on the premises. Vans with roof racks or taller vehicles with roof racks will need to have racks removed to fit in parking spaces.

We really enjoyed our stay in Gulf Shores the weather was great, cool but perfect for a March get away from Michigan. The condo was cute, clean and just perfect for the two of us. We will return to spend more time exploring the area!

Great location for the family to be beach bums!

We have stayed in this condo a couple of times for our fall break vacations. It's a great location to be right on the beach with a store, restaurant, and ice cream shop right across the street. You're just a short drive from several great restaurants and family fun. You have all the needed amenities to have a great week of family fun! We will definitely keep coming back!

Perfect family stay on the beach

This was our second time staying at a Sunrise Village property. The fact that you are directly on the beach is perfect when you're traveling with little ones. You are a 1 minute walk from the ocean to your condo door. We will definitely be coming back!

Everything was perfect! Beds are a little hard, but otherwise great. Staff was quick to respond to fix any issues. Right on the beach, and right across the street from a grocery/convenience store and seafood market. We never moved the car once we arrived!

We came in 2017 and loved it so we came back.. This condo is perfect for families.. Clean, friendly great access to beach and great ice cream across the road. Impressed they had sand toys for kids, a beach chair and a nice coffee maker.. Downfall, sheets had sand on them first night and a stain on bunk bed so not sure the sheets were cleaned.. I had to wash them but overall we will be back again and stay at sunrise village!! Plenty to do and very kid friendly.. everyone is so nice.. saw a lot of dolphins as well🐬..

Only dislike we had was the parking spot by the stairs. It made it smaller than other spots. We had to get all of our stuff out the truck before parking it. If you have a car probably wouldn't be a problem.

Nice place! Mattresses, not so much

I would definitely stay here again, but I would bring mattress toppers for sure. The mattresses were very thin and hard. It took a while each morning to resolve the soreness in our bodies, which was a bummer. The property manager, Stephanie, was fantastic! We were harassed by some guests above us, and she handled the situation nicely. I would stay here again for sure, but definitely bringing the mattress toppers!

For the price to be about the same as others in the complex the amenities were somewhat poor. Clean and great location, but microwave needed some help and maybe some updated furnishings.

Upon entering the condo, everything looks great, clean, and perfect view of the beach and location. After staying there we noticed things were not so great. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, the sheets were very cheap and scratchy, and the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. Would not stay here again.

Beautiful and great location

Third year staying at sunrise village and second year in this exact room.. as we just love it and love it sleeps 6 for our family of 6.. Only thing was the washer/dryer.. complicated and the dryer took forever to dry items and then clothes came out smelling.. Key was hard to lock/unlock and last year they had beach toys and chairs and this year there wasn’t.. sheets were dirty coming in as well.. Real impressed with the decor and they updated the TVs in the bedrooms.. they were bigger.. that was awesome!!! Would we book the condo again? Absolutely!! Great condo, love the ice cream shop across street, love we can walk out on beach and easy to check in and check out!! Price for the week is reasonable as well Thank you for a great week and a great stay!!!

Property Management Horrible!

Left a message to confirm charges on my card as it charged VRBO charges and didn’t seem to process the remainder. They never called me back, then had to call 3 times to figure out my reservations. They man not once asked questions or tried to find our reservation until my third call and said call you look up my name and wow found it. Rude and ridiculous! Will never rent with from this company again!

Not a great stay

We’ve been coming to Gulf Shores for years and have stayed at several condos in Sunrise Village, but unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience we’ve had.Just before our trip, we were notified that the building would be under construction. While a full refund was offered, the notice was so short that we couldn’t find another place to stay—so we were stuck.From the moment we arrived, the view was completely obstructed by construction equipment, portable toilets, and noise from constant work being done. On top of that, the fire marshal and city inspector showed up on our first day and forced about a third of the building to vacate. The entire beachside section was shut down due to rotting wood and structural safety concerns.Inside the unit, things didn’t improve. The front door barely opened because the floor was so warped it blocked the door. A strong mildew smell hit us immediately. The bathroom had visible mold, none of the bedroom doors would latch shut, and the queen bed was rock hard with only a sheet and a paper-thin blanket provided.The dryer was another headache—despite cleaning the lint trap every time, it worked inconsistently. Sometimes it wouldn’t start, and other times it shut off mid-cycle.Needless to say, by the end of the trip, we were more than ready to leave. We love Gulf Shores and will definitely be back—but never to this unit again. It desperately needs repairs, updates, and a lot more transparency with guests

It was managable

We arrived in Gulf Shores at 3. I got the key from Gulfsands rentals, but did not enter the condo till 4. When we walked in there was still sand on the floor(a lot of it). That was no big deal. The queen size bed and the pull out couch was outdated. The pull out couch looked okay but when I sat on it, the bottom of the couch fell down. When it came time to pull the bed out for my teen, the mattress smelled like it had been peed on over and over and the metal pull out bars were rusted. My daughter is the only 1 who needs a tv to go to sleep, but in her room there was a universal remote and the tv was not connected to the Wi-Fi/internet. Could not connect it due to not being able to switch to numbers for the code. I did call the next morning to tell about the bed and tv a few times but there was no answer and I had plans and could not wait around, if I would have left a message would have had to do just that. The bathroom was small and the toilet is so close to the wall, my husband is a bit bigger than I am and that was not a good fit for him. Over all an updated couch and a working universal remote would have made my teen and my preteen happy.

I require very little to be happy but this was terrible. I have never written a bad review anywhere.

This condo was advertised as very clean with WiFi. I was unable to get the WiFi to work and when I contacted Gulf Sands Rentals I was told I could call the internet company. 😂I am on vacation and did not want to do that. Also, I contacted them about a huge burn/crack in the microwave door and obvious black mold/mildew on over half the ceiling above the shower 🤮. The company told me it was moisture. I also reported that the drawers were nasty with chip cans and ocean water. There was no apology or righting any wrongs. There were 3 TVs and about 6 remotes, and none of them had batteries. We bought those. There was at least one light out in the bedroom and the shower curtain had lots of mold and mildew along with someone else’s hair and a sponge left. There was water on the floor from somewhere in the refrigerator. I would never stay at this unit again. The location is amazing and we may try the magnolia that was on the top floor and rents from Three 20s LLC.
