Soundfront Home w/ Boat Dock, Windsports Access, and More for Fun on the Water!

SOUNDFRONT Avon- South Albacore Lane Come celebrate the joys of soundfront living with 175 ft. of sound frontage and a 15 ft. dock at PENGUIN POINT. Magnificent water views abound from almost every window and are magnified in the great room with cathedral ceilings. The chef in your group can cook up magic in the kitchen and then join the family on the large sundeck to view the unsurpassed sunsets.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-refundable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Great views but a HOT stay.

The house was ok. A great location for 4x4 beach, restaurants, and sound access. However, everyday after spending the day on the beach we would come home to a 80 degree house. Cooking makes it hot as well. There was no reprieve. The system would almost get caught up overnight to just begin to heat up again. An mini-split in the living room could eliminate this issue altogether. It was miserable being in the house from 11-6. We tried to stay out most of that time. The listing also talks about the chef, in your party, having everything needed. We didn’t have a frying pan, a pot big enough to steam crab legs, and the trash compactor is a little over whelming. We also had issues with the smoke detectors going off in the middle of the night. The sunsets were amazing and we saw somereally great storms come across the sound. IDK if we would stay here again.

Sound side in Avon

We had a great week for our second trip to OBX. The views from the property were amazing with awesome sunsets and an awesome deck to enjoy it from. Location is great. Not too far from anything. Would stay again.
