OCEAN SIDE Salvo - Jolly Roger Rd. - The crown jewel of your next vacation is sure to be this SUMMER PALACE. Amenities abound, starting with the clear blue private swimming pool and an inviting hot tub.

For indoor entertainment, you can retreat to the expansive ground level game room to keep everyone in your royal family busy, including a pool table, TV/DVD player, and wet bar with refrigerator and microwave.

There are four comfortable master bedrooms to choose from, three of which are on the second level. Two queen masters and one pyramid bunk master await you, all featuring TVs and DVD players. On the top-level, you can retire in the king master bedroom, featuring a TV, DVD player, and Jacuzzi tub.

The top-level great room provides a comfortable gathering place for your clan. Family feasts can easily be prepared in the spacious kitchen and enjoyed in the adjacent dining area. After a full day of vacation fun, everyone will feel like royalty while relaxing on the regal roof observation deck with sun-soaked views of the ocean and sound.

Overall was a great stay

The house and location was great. Only thing I think needs work is the upper deck. Some parts do not seem sturdy. The house was super clean and I like how mid week and Fridays the pool was tended to and the trash.

The outside of the property looked like a homeless camp upon arrival. This home was not cleaned well, dustballs and trash under furniture. The pool was never cleaned midweek as we were told. The home is beautiful, but needs some attention. Several safety issues with the stairs and railings at the pool are not stable. The condition of the refrigerator was not good.

Nice

Property was very nice. If you’re a pool player bring your cue and a bit of chalk. The equipment here was sub-par, but did not detract from the experience. Nice to have a beer fridge and wet bar on the ground level next to the pool, with an power room close by.

Great place

We had a wonderful stay. The only thing I had a problem with was there was only 1 trash can in the kitchen. No recyclable can. There should be at least 1 trash can and 1 recyclable can on the top and bottom floors.

Basic, Worn, Dirty and Tired

We rented Summer Palace but it fell short of expectations. We have stayed in several VRBO homes and they have always made you feel you were at home. This place had several snags in the carpets, stains on the chairs and needed to be refreshed. The decorations looked like they were thrown on the wall just to have something on the wall. It needs to be refreshed. The managing company Surf or Sound fell short as well. Our check in was at 4 to 6 pm. Upon entering Surf or Sound I received a text that the second floor AC wasn’t working and that wall units would be put in that night. The men who brought them and installed them were very pleasant. The best experience we had. The air conditioner was fixed on Monday. There were several things in need of repair. The locks on the gates to the pool were extremely hard to open. You had to lift the door frame just right to be able to get them to open. The kitchen amenities were sub par. Pans we scratched and worn. Everything seemed like it was put away with food crusted on it. And it was dog friendly as we brought our dog. There were 13 separate pooping spots that the previous renters failed to clean up in the small grassy area. I cleaned it up but felt I shouldn’t have to do that. The management company said an inspector was supposed to come by before 6 pm but he never showed. We were outside the house waiting for Surf and Sound to call us so we could get into the house and they said the inspector had to go through the house. At 6 they said we could get in and we never saw an inspector go in the house. They sent us a text that we could go in. I took pictures of the issues and sent Surf or Sound an email and they never returned my email
