OCEANFRONT Salvo - Sand Street - Ready for an easy-going oceanfront vacation? Then it's time for some BEACH FUN. Start your vacation with a dip in the private pool. There is even a poolside cabana half bath for convenient bathroom breaks. Or, step inside and take your pick of four bedrooms on this level, all with TVs. Two king bedrooms share a full bath and feature lovely ocean views. There's also a bedroom with two bunks for the kids, and a queen bedroom, both with easy access to the hall bath. A first level game room with pool table offers everyone a respite from the beach. Upstairs, you'll find the king master bedroom with TV and top-of-the-world ocean views. The top level also features the expansive great room with oceanfront dining area, living area with TV and easy access to the sunny oceanfront decks, with views of a shipwreck just off the beach. When you're looking for a home with a gorgeous ocean view and an easy walk to the beach, you're definitely ready for BEACH FUN.

Enjoy the quiet and relax

This was a great property and Surf and Sound was awesome. We stayed with our cousin and her 3 kids + our 2 all between 11 and 14 they had a blast. The water was cold this time of year so surfing required full suits. The house was great the pool was an excellent option to the ocean and the hot tub was a daily occurrence. It's in Salvo so it's quiet and a bit of a drive to the closest grocery store - but that's what we were going for so it was perfect for us.

Annual Family Trip to OBX

Loved the property location and had a wonderful week despite some wet weather a few days. Home is beautifully laid out with some great amenities. Some of the upgrades seemed to be done in a pretty cheap way and you can see: Flooring on top floor, gates to the pool. Just sharing so you can keep an eye on that it was there when you arrived. The support from Surf or Sound was great and overall I would highly recommend this property and the use of Surf or Sound.

Sand Street rental

Overall we had a great stay for an extended family vacation. Be prepared to bring everything to this rental - hand soap, TP, dish soap, beach accessories/chairs and a beach cart if possible. We’ve rented in OBX before and normally there is a beach closet with supplies but not this one. They give you 4 rolls of TP for 5 toilets at this rental. Overall we loved it, as we have been coming to OBX for many years and this was a cool location with the Pocahontas shipwreck out front.

This is Spirit Airlines at the beach!

Great house, check in wonderful, and super quiet neighborhood!! However, prepare to be nickel and dimed every step of the way. 6 people, we were given 3 rolls of toilet paper, 1 two oz hand soap, 1 dishwasher tab, and 1 garbage sack. After you pay thousands of dollars, one would think these things could or would be taken care. Did I mention no wastebaskets in the bathrooms?? I am pretty sure if I had called the office, they would have provided these items with a surcharge. So, I passed it!! We will not be booking through surf and sound again.

Beach Fun house

The rental was everything we expected, everything was as listed and the kids enjoyed the many amenities. My only draw back was the distance to the beach. While it's a beachfront, you still need a good beach cart to haul stuff over the dunes. But this is not the fault of anyone, just happens where the residential/beach line is located.

Amazing beach location!

We had an amazing family vacation here. Located steps from the ocean. The hot tub was amazing. The house was clean. A few things needed repair, when called someone came out within a few hours.
