This fabulous condo at Westwinds is the ultimate beach vacation respite. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this luxury condo overlooks emerald waters and sandy white beaches. Westwinds offers a tropical seasonally heated pool, hot tub, kiddie pool and snack bar, plus a fully equipped gym. A gated walkway takes you directly to the sugar white sand at the Resort beach.

Newly updated with relaxation in mind, our condo features comfortable living room seating including a sleeper sofa NEW IN 2020, and an HDTV-DVD player. The dining area offers seating at the dining table for four. Granite countertops and stainless appliances complete the fully stocked kitchen. The balcony, which overlooks the lush tropical pool area, is accessible from both the living room and master bedroom. Both bedrooms feature king beds, generous closet space, and HDTVs. The master bath is designed with a double sink vanity and a walk-in shower. The second bath is complete with a bathtub/shower combination. There is a washer/dryer for your convenience, and WIFI is complimentary.

The Resort is the premier destination on the Emerald Coast. You will enjoy sugar white beaches, 4 golf courses, 15 world class tennis courts, a full marina with water sports, catch and release fishing, swimming pools, a fitness center with full spa, and 11 miles of walking, jogging or bicycling trails. The Wharf, in the heart of the resort, offers a unique experience. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really appreciated the cooperation with retrieval of items that were forgotten! So helpful! The place was clean and well-appointed/updated. One thing would be appreciated is updated pillows (many were very flat) and more than one blanket for the pull out couch. It can get chilly when the het is not on in general.

Beachfront Convenience

Small but adequate for 4 adults + a sofa sleeper for a couple more. Super easy access to very nice pool area as well as beach. Nice view from fourth floor balcony - partial view of pool area as well as nice view of beach / gulf. Check in and check out process is clearly stated and very efficient. Maybe a little pricey for the size - but it worked out very well for a last minute trip to the beach.

Overall enjoyed our stay

The location was great and condo was as pictured. The only complaints we had were the quality of the mattress, linens and bathtowels. The mattress was super hard and both our backs were hurting by night 3 - so slept on couch a couple of nights. The linens and bath towels were very low quality and had stains. Both shower curtains also needed to be replaced. If these were upgraded it would have been a perfect stay.

Great Ger away Location

This was my first time staying in this property and I was not disappointed. The property looks just like the pictures and it is conveniently located on the beach. This is a beautiful condo that you can tell has been recently updated; the condo was spotless as well. Overall the west winds was a quiet property, however a person on our floor liked to play loud in the afternoon. That was distracting but overall, not an issue unless you like quiet all day. Days before my arrival, the property manager sent all the instructions and information needed about my stay. They send a link to a website that displays all the codes you will need to get into various parts of the property and condo, information on what your rental covers, how to rent beach chairs, and more. Everything I could possibly need for my stay in the property was included on the site. The check in process was simple, however the instructions told me the access code would be ready at 4, it was not. I had to wait between 5-10 after 4p before the access code to enter the property worked. The workers at the property are kind and they are constantly cleaning which maintains the cleanliness of the property. Just like the check in process, check out was a breeze; I feel like I got my money’s worth on this condo. I will definitely rent this property again.

Location! Location! Location!

We love the Miramar Beach Sandestin location. The proximity to the golf courses , shopping , restaurants are perfect. We’ve been coming here for 3 years now. Westwinds is a beautiful property. The pool area with all the palm trees adds a very tropical feel in January/February when we stay. We will continue to come here.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately it was not as expected. The living room furniture it broken down and not comfortable at all, the beds are very uncomfortable and extremely hard. The first night we had no air conditioning, when I called the property manager she assured me there was nothing wrong with it .. we had turned it on went to the pool came back and it was 80.. never came down .. she did call a repair man around 5:25 he did come around 8:25 it was indeed out it was water cooled and the lines were air blocked .. it was fixed when ask about compensation for no air .. she said there would be non and we could leave if we wanted to leave .. I do say she did let us in at around 3:00 with a temporary code before check in at 4:00. I would be very hesitant to rent from this company again and definitely not this unit until new furniture is in the unit .. West Winds amenities are the best and we go 2 times a year .. it is the best

Beautiful, secure property! Enjoyed the pool & easy beach access. Close to lots of good shopping & restaurants. The property manager, Denise, isn’t the most friendly so I hope you don’t have to have much dealings with her. Also, make note of limited hot water if you are bringing more than a couple of people.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful condo! It had everything we needed. I was just right for our family of 5. Elevators were quick and easy. A Highlight was the pool which looks like you are in a tropical resort with all the palm trees! Just gorgeous!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Checked in on Monday 5/15/23. After a full first day on Tuesday, we (4 adults) came in to shower to find out that only 1 person was able to get even a warm shower. They quickly responded and found that a heating element was bad, it was replaced but still the rest of the week only 1 person was able to get a hot shower. The king bed in the master was horrible! I don't have back problems but have returned home with back problems. I spent 5 of 6 nights sleeping half of the night on the bed tossing and turning then moving to the couch. My husband also has returned home with back issues. My family has vacationed 1-2 times a year in Destin, FL. This is the worst unit we have ever stayed in. We have stayed multiple times as the Westwinds complex and have had wonderful accommodations.
