This 'Newly Remodeled' beachfront condo is located right on the beach in Capitola that has some of the best weather on the central coast. This is a wonderful place to enjoy the sun and the ocean with your family and friends. Open up the French doors, take 3 steps and you are in the sand.

Enjoy a full ocean view on the seawall where you can relax right outside your front door. Downtown Capitola is a block away where you can enjoy dining, shopping, and entertainment. Or you can go for a stroll on the pier and drop your fishing line in the water.

There is a golf course and shopping less than 5 miles away. Santa Cruz is 15 minutes away where you can visit the Beach Boardwalk where there are rides, games, and a roller-coaster. Visit the excellent wineries less than 1/2 hour away.

Perfect Family Vacation

This was an absolutely perfect spot for me to take my 3 year old boys for a beach vacation. The property is beautiful and well kept. Walking right into the beach was super convenient with the little ones. And Mary was an exceptional host, making sure everything was in order for our stay. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Everything was wonderful! It was the perfect beach getaway. Great location, beautiful views, adorable space, we could not of asked for anything more. We will definitely be coming back! We also enjoyed coordinating our stay with the awesome owner!

This place has everything you need and has been kept in very nice condition. It was extremely clean and the location could not be better. Just open the French doors and you’re staring at the ocean. Walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops as well

Great time at Capitola Beach

We had an amazing time at this beach house. The location is unbeatable -- just steps from the beach and a short walk to Capitola Village. The house itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with everything we needed.The ocean views from the living room are breathtaking. Communication with host was easy. We can't wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful condo. We stayed there with our daughters who had a wonderful time. Our girls would roll out of bed walk out the front door and play in the sand. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, all just minutes away. We stay in Capitola several times a year. This by far was one of our best visits ever!!!

Memorable Vacation!

I surprised my husband with a stay here for his 40th birthday and it was amazing! We both said it will be a vacation we look back at with the best memories. It's perfect for kids because you literally open the door and there is the beach! At night, you can put the kids to bed and sit right outside to enjoy the sounds of the ocean together. There are plenty of places nearby to walk to and eat or shop. The house has everything you need and the owner is great with communicating before and during your stay. It's a great place to stay!

Wonderful property

This property couldn't be more perfect! We smiled from the time we arrived. The joy we felt while staying at Mary Ann's piece of heaven can't be described. Park your car when you arrive and you don't need to get it it again until you leave. Mary Ann was a pleasure to work with, great and quick communicator. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back for a future visit.

Amazing weekend

My husband, 2 young boys and I enjoyed our stay at Mary Ann's vacation rental. Anytime that I had a question she was extremely efficient on answering. Her rental is beautiful and clean, and the location phenomenal. We pretty much stayed parked for the weekend because we were walking distance to restaurants and cute shops. Another thing that I enjoyed was her rental was equipped with everything that we needed. We can't wait to come back again!

Perfect place

Very clean, beautiful interior. Modern kitchen. Heat works well, and of course, the view. Only drawback is it's the entry point for beach access for folks using a shortcut (they stop right in front of the rental's door facing the water and hop the stone wall to the sand) so not private. If that doesn't bother you, it's perfect!

We (my boyfriend and our daughter) just returned from staying at this beautiful condo! I can't say enough about it. It's well kept, perfect location to everything, even more beautiful than the photos, all the amenities, and Mary Ann made the entire experience-from our first inquiry about it to our check out-enjoyable. We didn't want to leave. It was our home away from home and we enjoyed every minute of it. We are already planning our next trip back here. Awesome Location & House

The house was super clean and just as pictured. The host Mary Ann was easy to communicate with. I did not read super thoroughly when booking as she is clear that linen's and towels are not provided. It just made it a lot more to pack for a family of four and we had to bring Paper Towels & TP.

Priceless

It was truly a privilege to be able to stay in this historic condo in the most spectacular location. Sitting in the kitchen having breakfast with our almost two year old over looking the beach/ ocean/ nature was absolutely priceless. My husband and I were able to enjoy a glass of wine on the porch and feel like we were in the middle of all the action while our baby napped. We got a great parking spot and did not have to drive the entire time. Definitely are planning a trip back. Mary Anne was so responsive whenever anything came up.

We had an amazing time staying in this beach house in Capitola. The convenience of the location is unmatched! Not only is it right on the beach but it’s one of the closest of the homes to the creek that is closed off from the ocean during the summer which made it an even more ideal place for our young kids to play. I booked this spot for me, my husband, our two young kiddos (1 and 3 years old), and my mom. My mom stayed on the pull out couch in the living room and said it was comfortable enough. The noise from the outside does make its way into the living room a fair amount and with the location there is just a lot of natural noise - people walking by, live music at the restaurants, people partying on the beach, etc. wouldn’t be a problem for most folks but with young kids we ended up in bed by 9pm every night. That said the bedroom was surprisingly quiet even when the evening was in full swing. We did have to keep all of the windows closed to keep the sound down though and it made the place a bit hot at night, we stayed in October and it was only in the 70s during the day so I imagine it can be super hot and necessary to keep the windows open in the heat of the summer. The bedroom is great for a family of four but keep in mind that the top bunk’s bed rail is the same height at the mattress so if you have a younger kiddo you might not feel safe having them up there. Overall we’d definitely stay here again if we could budget for it, the cost was more than we’d usually spend.

Property owner complaint only

The property itself is beautiful. My interaction with the owner is my complaint. I received a phone call on the Monday morning after our trip complaining of a burnt popcorn smell in the unit. My child accidentally did burn popcorn but the microwave was still usable. I apologized for not cleaning the microwave myself. We had the windows and doors opened all weekend so the smell was not noticed by us. The owner complained that we left too much sand ( I did sweep the kitchen, living room and hallway). She kept half of the deposit which I felt was unreasonable, as the microwave was not broken. She continued to say I broke contract by having 6 people. Her contract specifically says 6 people ( I have a copy). I would just beware if you decide to rent from her.

Best Vacation Ever!

The condo is excellently designed in a modern beach theme. The tile flooring in the living room, kitchen and bathroom is amazing. The kitchen was complete with full amenities. The queen bed and pillows were very comfortable. My son loved the bunk beds. The shower was nice and large. The living room couch was perfect to lounge on after a day in the sun. At night we enjoyed watching tv in that room. The only items we needed to bring were bed linens, towels, paper products, charcoal, and our food. The property is located as the second house on the front row of the Venetian strip. For a family with young children, this is perfect. You can sit in the kitchen or living room and let the kids out to play on the beach. You are seriously 2 steps away from the sand! We barbecued one night on the charcoal grill. The walk to the village where all the shops and restaurants are took 3 minutes. Just walk up the sidewalk and over the bridge. My family of 3 hope to rent this condo again in the future. The owner is really nice and everything was as said in the description. We did some day trips such as Monterey Bay Aquarium, tide pools at Natural Bridges State Beach, and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. All of those sites were within 20-30 minute drive. My son said it was the best vacation ever!

Loved the Capitola beach house

Location, location, location! The windows opened to a full ocean view!!! Practically on the sand with a view of Monterey Bay and Lagoon. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Monterey Bay is just a few steps away across the sandy beach. Unit clean and fully appointed including beach toys, beach umbrella, chairs that can be taken out and put in front of unit, etc. A beach stay does not get any better than this!

Great Rest & Fun with Family

My family has been renting on Capitola beach for about six years now. This was our first stay in this unit and it was great. This unit is beautiful and updated. It has plenty of kitchen tools and space to spread out for a one-bedroom. My kids loved the bunk beds and the grandparents said the pull-out couch was comfortable; it is a gel foam mattress and they slept on it each night with no complaints! There are chairs to set out in the front but there is not shade, so we used mainly in the morning and evening. It would have been nice to have an umbrella so the grandparents could have sat outside more with the kids. We stayed on a weekend and were worried about the noise from the restaurants but it was not bad at all. The music ended at a decent hour and with the windows closed, no problem. The front door was a little tricky to open/ lock and unlock but with a few attempts, it was figured out. Overall, it was a nice location and we would stay again. We love Capitola and look forward to it every year!

Absolute... H E A V E N

From the booking to the departure this entire experience was epic. First off, Mary Ann couldn't have been more thorough, accommodating or responsive, it always makes the stay so much more relaxing when that happens. Location and view speak from the pictures, it's right where they say it is AND the place itself, 100% perfect. Doesn't get any cleaner than this place, seriously, also, everything was so easy to use and there wasn't signage everywhere to make you feel you were at a hotel, I mean, short of making this a love fest, WE WILL BE BACK. OH, it was just my Wife and I that stayed; however, we had her sister come stay on the weekend 2 nights and then on one day we had local family come hang out at the beach for the day, all of it was amazing. All topped off by a live band on Friday and Saturday night at the Capitola Bar & Grill SO it was a nice dance-walk on over the bridge to enjoy some good food, views and dance music. Simply perfect, thank you.
