Amazing place for a wedding! So many guests have asked when we can have another event here! We are all looking for reasons to come back!! Love the relaxed atmosphere and how you can customize your trip to be exactly what you want. Thanks Stewart, Denise, Michael and staff!! We had a blast
The Lodge is amazing! We had a fantastic time! It was everything we hoped for! But you should bro g everything you need, it is an hour round trip to run to Stewart’s if you need something
Wonderful location and facilities for all 18 of us from 6 to 82. Hosts were responsive and accommadating. Setting is beautiful, We had a great time making new memories together. All want to return.
The Lodge at Harrisburg Lake is everything you could ever want for a family reunion. The large dining space and commercial kitchen accommodated our 40 person family perfectly. There was so much to do between the pool, lake (kayaks included!), bonfire area, tennis courts, tavern, and kids’ playroom. One of our favorite parts of the trip was the tavern—it was filled with great music, dancing, and drinks! The host & staff were communicative, friendly, and attentive. Everyone had a blast—I can’t recommend this place enough!
Beautiful, welcoming place, with something to do for everyone. Comfortable accommodations
Excellent food !
All 20 of us had a wonderful and memorable time.
A beautiful rustic lodge with plenty of amentities. Our grandchildren especially enjoyed karaoke and line dancing in the tavern. Stuart & Denise could not be greater hosts. Two negatives were the flies (early July) and the "small kitchen" off the dining area should be called a Butler Pantry as there was no running water nor cooking facility save the wonderful microwave.
This Lodge is awesome! Lots to do and the owners are great to deal with. Food was great and more then enough for everyone. We will return for our next reunion in two years.
We had a great family reunion here (July 2025) of around 30 people ranging in ages from about 7 to 85. We all had a great time. The pool was great to swim in, everyone loved hanging out at the lake beach and the fishermen in our group fished on the lake every day. A highlight was using the tavern across the street, which had a bar, dance floor and mic for karaoke. Our group had never done karaoke before but had such a blast doing it. We also appreciated that this is not a rental that gives you a list of chores to do on the way out. Very easy going and responsive hosts.
We rented for a family reunion and had plenty of space for our 26 participants. The food was great and the tavern was a really fun extra. Unfortunately the time around the 4th of July was full of rain but it was that way across the country!
Lodge was charming, facility offered everything you could want for all ages. Kids enjoyed the play area, teens had a great time at the lake with boats, canoes, kayaks! Adults had a great time in the tavern and swimming pool. Campfire and s’mores every night! Hats off to Stuart and Denise!
The Lodge (and one of the at property extra cottage rentals) was perfect for our family of 30 members of various ages. To find a place with multiple bedrooms w/own bath was ideal for us. Plus, great spaces to gather, large dining space and cozy den too. Add in pool, lake, hikes and lots of pickleball and the coolest tavern across quiet street- made for a perfect family reunion. We will be back!
We had an amazing time at this property. Just to highlight some of the amenities -
Pool, Game room with pool table and ping pong + toys for kids; basketball and tennis courts; lake with boats (about a 5 min walk from the house - bring your own life jackets); grills and plenty of out door eating space.
Host was amazing - extremely responsive and helpful.
We had a small winter wedding with about 50 guests, 40 of whom stayed at the lodge with us. It was incredible, from the rooms to the food to the views, and the staff were so wonderful and helpful with every part of the process. Could not recommend enough!! 10/10
If I could give this place.10 instead of the 5 stars, I would. We just had a wedding here and it was great. The owners were wonderful and so helpful with everything. The.communication was excellent. In addition to the place being great, the food was phenomenal! We plan to have another family Reunion here. Denyse and Stu are great and the Lodge is the place to be. Thanks for making our wedding event so special and for taking care of our family!
The Lodge at Harrisburg Lake was a perfect location for a staff retreat. We were able to accommodate 30 people by sharing beds and rooms. The only challenge was that most beds are double beds, but we were able to make it work by assigning rooms and beds ahead of time. The lodge itself is quaint and comfortable. Our team took advantage of all the amenities - catered meals, on-site tavern, swimming in the pool, basketball and tennis courts, kayaking on the lake, nightly bonfires and s'mores, and hosting workshops in the barn. It was such a unique experience that our team has already expressed wanting to go back!
This was our first big family reunion, and this was the perfect place to do it. Family drove and flew in from around the country to help my dad celebrate his 70th. It's not the easiest place to get to, but once you're there, you'll appreciate the amenities -- the pool, the lake, the mini-mart, volleyball net, the tavern, the game/kids room, hiking trails, the nightly smores. We also chose to have Chef Doug cook our breakfast and dinners which saved us a lot of stress and headache, and the food was great too! Stuart was always around so it was easy to get a hold of him, and Chef Doug and Mike were also around so it was very easy to coordinate with the staff. My mom/dad asked about doing this again next year. Thanks for having us!
