Nice cottage in the Luberon Regional Park

Very beautiful cottage full of charm in the heart of the Luberon Regional Park. With a surface area of around 50 m²: a bedroom with double bed and a single bed on the mezzanine.
Bathroom with bathtub. Neat decoration.
Pretty terrace, facing south, in front of the cottage with picnic table and deckchair for moments of relaxation in the sun.
Land planted with oaks and lavenders.

Possibility to discover Provence in a hot air balloon, go horse riding, bargain hunting at the famous flea market of Isle sur la Sorgue or in the many empty granaries of villages, participate in votive festivals and taste pistou soup, practice l on the cliffs of Buoux, try your hand at paragliding in Rustrel, discover the Lavender Museum in Coustelet, the olive oil mills, taste the many regional wines (Côtes du Luberon) and local products in the many village markets.

The cottage is in the countryside 2 km from the center of the pretty medieval village of Viens with a mini-market, a bakery and a restaurant bar on site.
Supermarkets are in Apt at 15 km.
The cottage is ideally located opposite the Luberon near the many tourist sites and charming Provencal villages like Rustrel and its Colorado, Roussillon and its ocher cliffs, Gordes (one of the most beautiful villages in France), its bories village and the 12th century Senanque Abbey, Bonnieux and its magnificent cedar forest, Lacoste and the remains of the Marquis de Sade castle, Menerbes, Oppède le Vieux ... and so many other charming Provencal hilltop villages.

Wij hebben een geweldige week gehad. Eenvoudig huisje, met een prachtige tuin. Ontzettend aardige en behulpzame eigenaar.De omgeving is prachtig , zeker in mei/juni als alles in bloei staat. Veel mogelijkheden om te fietsen en te wandelen met prachtige vergezichten.Leuke dorpjes, marktjes en restaurantjes.

Belle decouverte

Merci pour l'accueil royal a l'arrivée : invitation a la maison pour apéritif tres amélioré, on se sent de la famille. Cetait l'occasion de faire connaissance, de parler de la région, d'ecouter nos envies pour le sejour et de nous faire des propositons adaptées. Merci au passage pour le prêt des documents touristiques, des cartes de la region... Le gîte est parfaitement conforme à l'annonce. Il est confortable et bien équipé. Le jardin est magnifique. Les proprietaires reussissent le tour de force d'être à la fois discrets et "aux petits soins". Bref, nous recommandons!

Herrliche Zeit

Das Häuschen liegt hinter den Häusern der Vermieter (und damit der kleinen Landstraße abgewandt) und hat einen sehr schönen Außenbereich. Die Region ist fantastisch. Die Möglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe füllen leicht eine Woche. In der sauberen Wohnung fanden wir alles, was wir brauchten. Aufgrund der außergewöhnlich starken Hitze im Sommer 2022 war es in dem dritten Bett unter dem Dach sehr heiß, so dass das mitgebrachte Reisebett im eigentlichen Schlafzimmer (Klimaanlage!) zum Einsatz kam. Xavier ist ein ganz toller Gastgeber: charmant, hilfsbereit, humorvoll, warmherzig, großzügig. Alles in Allem ist dieses Objekt also sehr zu empfehlen.

Zauberhafte Provence

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung in grüner Idylle

Amparo and Xavier have been incredible friendly and gave us incredible useful advice as to which places to visit. The appartement offers a beautiful garden with lots of spots to relax and the possibility to be completely undisdurbed. Only Duc, the lovely dog, is checking up on you every now and then. We enjoyed a great and relaxing week in total privacy and everyone who ist choosing this place is lucky to stay there. Wir wurden von Amparo und Xavier sehr nett empfangen und mit hilfreichen Insider-Tipps für die gesamte Region (inklusive Karten und Reiseführer) versorgt. Die Ferienwohnung selbst liegt in einem traumhaften Garten und bietet zahlreiche Plätze zum Entspannen. Es war herrlich ruhig . Nur der süße Familienhund Duc kommt hin und wieder vorbei. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können einen Besuch bei Amparo und Xavier nur empfehlen.

Ruhe und Entspannung im Luberon

Wir haben zwei entspannte Wochen hier verbracht. Das kleine Häuschen hat alles was man benötigt. Wirklich toll ist die große Terrasse, hier kann man im Schatten der Eichen die Seele baumeln lassen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und geben gern Auskunft zu Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. In der Umgebung gibt es einige typische kleine Dörfer zum bummeln und auch viele Wandermöglichkeiten. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit bietet das 15 km entfernte Apt.

What a beautiful place!

We booked on short notice, the contact that we had via email had been great from the beginning on. Arriving in Viens, Xavier and his wife welcomed us with open arms and were hosting us caringly. It was lovely to meet such a nice, warming family. A huge thanks also goes to Duke, one of the kindest dogs we had ever met before. He loved to come by and say hello, making us smile every time he visited. The whole house was very tidy and organized - just like in the photos we had seen prior to our vacation - wonderfully decorated, so much passion for detail. The kitchen was not missing a thing and we barely ever had to use the AC. Nights were serene and the comfortable mattresses helped with uninterrupted sleep. The beautiful patio presented a great place for a prefect breakfast right outside. The toilet itself not being thrilled about paper was new, but doable over time, as we adapted quickly. We really did feel very comfortable with the whole wonderful atmosphere, since it offered so much peace and quiet, especially with the backyard and the patio. Whenever we had questions, Xavier was right there, ready to help us out, whoever never obtrusive. He gave us so many helpful tips, always supporting us. We were so grateful for all of that. My husband and I were there for two wonderful weeks and would happily revisit Xavier’s place anytime in the future. We really do miss the gorgeous Provence, the marvelous lavender from the backyard and the most fabulous hosts. Thank you so much for offering us such relaxing two weeks! Xavier, it was our greatest pleasure to meet you guys! We would be more than happy to come back someday! A & N

Ruhe, Natur und Herzlichkeit!!!!

Wir haben uns in dem kleinen, aber feinen und liebevoll gestalteten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und vor allem die Ruhe und das abendliche Sterne gucken sehr genossen. Xavier hatte sehr gute Tipps für Unternehmungen in die nähere Umgebung. Seine Frau und er waren sehr aufmerksame, hilfsbereite Gastgeber und so bekam ich für mein krankes Knie extra Tisch und Stühle zur Verfügung gestellt. Merci beaucoup!!!!!! Der Haushund Duc besuchte uns ab und zu, die Zikaden und Grillen gaben allabendlich ihr Konzert. Sehr angenehm fanden wir die Klimaanlage, die uns vor dem Schlafengehen das Zimmer auf Wohlfühltemperatur herunterkühlte.

Leben mit der Natur

Für uns hat in diesem Urlaub alles gepasst. Es war sehr ruhig. Unsere Vermieter waren sehr nett. Der Hund "Duc" war sehr lieb. Das Haus, der Garten, die Terasse, das Klima, die Natur, die Umgebung, die Menschen, alles perfekt. Wer sich von seinem Alltag erholen möchte, der ist hier genau richtig. Wir freuen uns darauf auf jeden Fall wieder zu kommen. Ganz besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei unseren Vermietern, für ihre Gastfreundschaft und das gute Informationsmaterial. Und natürlich für die Flasche Wein, als wir sie wirklich brauchten... A great many thanks to our landlords for their hospitality and the extraordinary Info-material. Séjour très relaxant

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans ce gîte, situé sur le terrain des propriétaires mais sans vis à vis. la terrasse avec la vue sur le jardin/forêt est très appréciable car ombragée (par contre beaucoup de moustiques en soirée). Nous avons apprécié l'aménagement simple et confortable, la disponibilité et la gentillesse des propriétaires, les visites discrètes du chien de la famille et la localisation au grand calme à côté du sympathique village de Viens (petit marché de producteurs, apicultrice, vue sur les environs,...). Lors de notre séjour en juin nous n'avons pas eu besoin de la climatisation. Le stationnement sur le terrain est idéal. MERCI!

Ein kleines Paradies im Vaucluse

Die wunderbare Terrasse mit Blick auf den Luberon und das liebevoll eingerichtete kleine Haus haben uns einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt ermöglicht. toller erholsamer Urlaub in einem liebenswerten Häuschen

Wir haben 2 Wochen Wanderurlaub im September in diesem liebevoll eingerichteten Haus verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden: die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist zweckmäßig und funktional, gleichsam aber auch mit viel Charme zusammengestellt. Die (übrigens voll klimatisierte) Wohnung erstrahlt, speziell tagsüber, dank des Dachfensters in einem angenehmen, warmen Licht, sodass auch das Verweilen in der Wohnung ein Vergnügen ist. Noch schöner war es aber auf der großen Terrasse, wo wir neben Tisch und Sitzbänken auch noch Platz für zwei Liegestühle und die Hängematte hatten. Dank der Südlage war Sonne den ganzen Tag garantiert, die vielen Bäume spendeten ausreichend Schatten - es war eben eine sehr große Terrasse. Dort war auch Platz für Duc, die niedliche Promenadenmischung des Hauses, die täglich vorbeikam und sich vergewisserte, das bei uns alles in Ordnung ist. Gerne nimmt er für diesen Service kleine Leckereien vom Tisch als Gegenleistung an. Das Haus selbst liegt knapp 2km von Viens entfernt, wo man auch die wichtigsten Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs einkaufen kann. Für uns als Wanderer eine nette Überraschung: der Ort selbst verfügt über sechs markierte Rundwanderungen durch Eichenwälder und Lavendelfelder, die in dieser Art und Weise auf keinem uns bekannten Wanderführer verzeichnet waren. Die Wege sind eher wenig begangen, aber sehr gut ausgeschildert. Kartenmaterial hierzu gibt es entweder im Ort oder - in unserem Fall - direkt von unseren aufmerksamen und hilfsbereiten Vermietern. Nachdem wir Ihnen erklärt hatten, dass wir zum Wandern in der Provence sind, wurden wir mit vielfältigen Wandermaterialien und Karten ausgestattet, die uns die Freizeitplanung erleichtert haben. Dazu gab es viele gute Tipps und einen (auf deutsch!) handgeschriebenen Zettel mit den wichtigsten Wochenmärkten und -Tagen, an denen diese stattfinden. Eine große Hilfe! :) Wir konnten uns jederzeit mit Fragen an sie wenden, ansonsten hielten sie sich so dezent im Hintergrund, dass wir glaubten, wir hätten das große Anwesen für uns allein. Vielen Dank für diesen großartigen Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Häuschen allen anderen uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Charming cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Xavier and Amparo’s country cottage. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and our hosts were very helpful with answering any questions we had. We also loved their funny and friendly dog Duke, the Fox Terrier. The cottage has been restored beautifully and sits in a lovely peaceful and quiet garden. The location is wonderful for exploring the Luberon area of Provence and we had many wonderful drives to charming towns and villages. The tiny village of Viens is just up the road and Apt is only 12 km away if you need to go to the market or do some shopping. We missed the lavender bloom but it must be spectacular in season, it had all just been harvested. Would love to return to this peaceful home away from home.

Agréable séjour dans un cadre verdoyant.

Le gîte, bien situé, permet de rayonner à la fois sur le grand et le petit Lubéron mais aussi sur les Alpes-de-Hautes Provence. Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans ce joli gite, joliment décoré,belle terrasse, literie très confortable,tout ce qu il faut dans la cuisine, la clim était vraiment un plus pour nous par ces fortes chaleurs. La région est vraiment magnifique à découvrir, Gordes,Viens,Bonnieux, le Colorado de Rustrel et bien d autres.... Wunderschönes Haus, herzliche Vermieter, schöner Garten, liebenswerter Hund

Überwältigt von der Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieter, haben wir uns sofort in dieses liebevoll gestaltete Häuschen verliebt. Wir haben alles gefunden, was wir brauchten. Da das Häuschen etwas außerhalb von Viens liegt, hatten wir den ganzen Tag viel Ruhe, nur Duc, der liebenswerte Hund, besuchte uns gelegentlich. Familie Vaulet war stets ansprechbar und gab touristische Tipps, blieb aber ansonsten dezent im Hintergrund. Nach Viens (Bäckerei, Lebensmittel und Café/Restaurant) kommt man in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto, aber auch gut zu Fuß. Das Städtchen ist wunderschön, klein und trotzdem voller Leben. Es ist landschaftlich toll gelegen. Ein perfekter Urlaub-jederzeit wieder.

hier wohnt das Glück

wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und uns wurde unser Urlaubsdomizil gezeigt. Die Vermieter waren sehr diskret und immer ansprechbar für evtl.Fragen. Das Wohnhaus ist gut eingerichtet,der Schlafraum großzügig und schön gestaltet. Besonders gut hat uns die Terrasse mit einem wundervollen Blick in den Naturgarten und zum Luberon gefallen. Hier hatten wir Ruhe zum Entspannen und immer die Möglichkeit, je nach Wunsch, einen sonnigen oder schattigen Platz zu finden.

Great stay in an awesome bungalow

The house in real life was even better than on the pics. And the pics are great. It is well furnished and equipped. We missed nothing and I'm sure if we had missed something Xavier had provided it with pleasure. Xavier and his family are extremely helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend the house wholeheartedly and hope to return soon.
