About this property

NEW LISTING - Blueberry acres in Fort Langley

Carriage House estate is a 20 acre property with 10 acres in blueberries, 5 acres of horse pasture and the remaining in buildings ie: horse stalls, workshop, equipment barn and circa 1911 house with surrounding gardens and lawn.
The suite is in a completely separate building so privacy is paramount.
We also use the lawn area at the front of the house which slopes down to the Salmon River as a wedding venue.
A number of movies and film productions have utilized the property such as ‘Bates Motel’, ‘Honor Student’, ‘A Mile In His Shoes’ and the most recent from Hallmark ‘All of my Heart 2’.
The majority of these events take place in the summer months.
The property is close enough to the village of Fort Langley to walk to whereupon you will find restaurants, antique shopping as well as other shops, museums, the Fort to Fort Trail that runs beside the Fraser River and the historic Fort compound itself.

The original suite has been demolished and has gone from 300sq.ft. to 900sq.ft.

We couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else while in B.C.! Kathleen is an amazing host and has created a beautiful home away from home. She has thought of everything…and then some! The view is gorgeous, the bed delightfully comfortable, the unit is meticulously cleaned and well-stocked. I promise you won’t have any regrets staying here! (Except that you have to leave lol)

Kathleen was a wonderful host to communicate with. The grounds are absolutely stunning from the vast green lawns to the blueberry fields, the huge trees, the seating by the river, the horses, and of course the resident dog, Duke, who is ever so friendly. The accommodations are perfect for 2 people. Very clean and cozy and inviting. It has a well stocked kitchen with everything you could need. The bath towels are plush, and the comfy robes and slippers are a nice touch. The bed is comfy. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay at this beautiful property.

We stayed 3 nights. My only complaint is that the washer and dryer can only be used by customers staying for more than a week. As travelers, a dwelling with washer and dryer was important to us when we book the place. Other than that, it is a beautiful place. Very quiet. Near downtown Fort Langley. Clean. Very peaceful.
