About this property

Gorgeous Lakeside Chalet

Property is located on a small float plane sized lake off the Denali Highway on a private drive. Enjoy fishing, boating or just relaxing at your own boat launch and beach on this 3 acres gem. After your daily venture, relax on the deck, barbecue or jump in the hot tub. No matter what you do, you will always find yourself gazing in awe of the scenery. Prime Berry picking, Wildlife viewing with hiking or strolling right out your door. 15 Miles to Carlo Creek, 20 miles to the Grizzly and Denali National Park, with Glitter Gulch just to the north. Activities include Rafting, Flight seeing, Hiking, Northern lights(mid August-Mid September), Fishing, Hunting, dog sledding, the 135 mile Denali Highway or Denali National Park. Local guides and tours available or self guided. When booking please do not leave a day that is non-bookable on either side of your stay. If you do, we may call you and see if you can adjust your vacation plans or we may not be able to rent. We only have approximately 115 days that we can possibly book and if every guest left a day or two on either side that is un-bookable, we could potentially lose out on half our season. Thank you for your consideration.

How did we meet, Kelly had a job in Southeast Alaska 1991, I worked as a Ticket Agent. His work company would freight just about everyday, we started to chat and out on a date it was year 1991, we have been married since 1992.
We both enjoy our family time with our 3 wonderful children and enjoy our time with our 7 grandkids, Alaska will always be our home.

We feel this is one of the last remote get a way's left on the road system that has all the amenities of a big city. Whether you see moose, bears, caribou, sheep, the spectacular scenery, the 135 mile Denali highway or find yourself enjoying the lake at your doorstep, you will know you have found a special place in Alaska.

In the event your dates are booked, we have another VRBO at Mile post 229.5 miles of the Parks Highway within a mile of the southern entrance to Denali National Park. You may check this property out as well. It is called "Log Home on Denali Airstrip."
