Offering a HOMEY rental on the gorgeous Chesapeake Bay - Leadenham Creek, Bozman, MD. The Gnome Home is nestled on 3 1/2 acres with 200 feet waterfront, there are exceptionally beautiful views & wildlife. A gorgeous sun room, with 3 walls of windows, overlooks the water. You may catch a view of our abundant wildlife & waterfowl - the bald eagles soaring, blue herons fishing along the shore, osprey flying &/or nesting on our platform to the right of the dock, native waterfowl, &/or deer passing through the property. If you are lucky, you might observe the river otters. Regardless of what you are seeking, you will find comfort, serenity & relaxation in our quiet home.

The home comfortably accommodates 10 guests - 5 bedrooms & 4 baths. There is a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, cable television, DVD player, games, books, beautiful relaxing deck, chairs by the water, kayaks, etc. Our dock has mooring for a boat, a new float, crab traps, & fishing (no fishing poles provided)! We are within a 10 minute drive from Neavitt's boat launch & about a 30 minute boat ride to our dock.

We are very close, within 10 minutes or so to St. Michael's, a quaint beautiful town rich in American history, a variety of shopping & some magnificent restaurants. Easton, MD is about 20-30 away for more activities, shopping, etc.

Our group of six had a wonderful four nights at the Gnome Home. We were blessed with good weather and made side trips to Tilghman Island, St. Michael’s and Oxford. We love the great room for watching the water, watching birds, playing games and just having conversation.

Great vacation spot for whole family. This is our 4th year. Kids love it, home is very well hosted - clean well equipped both in and out with plenty of seating, cooking and dishware, kayaks, canoes etc. we will be back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the "Gnome Home" Lots of room, bed options and fantastic and beautiful location on the water. Communication with the owners was fantastic, you should definitely consider this home if staying in the St. Michaels area!

This property was just what we were looking for - right on the water, beautiful outdoor space, lots of room in the house, clean, anything you would need to make your stay comfortable and tucked away but close enough to good food and things to do.

Our group of six older adults had a wonderful time during our stay. The great room with a view of the creek is superb for conversation, games and just relaxing. Excellent location for side trips to Tilghman, St., Michaels and Oxford.

A Great Getaway

Our group of six senior citizens enjoyed our second visit to the 'Gnome Home'. We liked the peace and quiet of Leadenham Creek and the easy access to St. Michaels and Tilghman Island.

Great stay

Spacious home, well equipped kitchen. Beautiful views of the water. Would recommend for anyone looking for a group stay for Ironman Maryland. Plenty of space and 40 minutes from Cambridge.

The Gnome House is delightful!

Our family of 8 spent a wonderful at the lovely Gnome House. With 3 generations in our family, the number of rooms and layout was perfect! Plenty of space to be together or to be in separate areas as desired. Kitchen is very well stocked, we did not lack for anything to cook and enjoyed the grill outside. The kayaks were put to good use and the small floating platform off the main dock made it easy to launch and return. The grounds are lovely and it was so nice to have all of the outdoor chairs to enjoy the water views from under the shade of the trees. Luann was very responsive to any questions we had

We are 2 brothers & a sister - Bruce, Kris & Luann. We live in Colorado, Pennsylvania & Arizona. We were VERY fortunate to have wonderful parents who left us their retirement legacy. We & our families just LOVE it here!

Why they chose this property

Why this property, it is very simple...WE LOVE IT HERE! Our parents found this property when they came down to visit our uncle in 1987, who lives down the road. They inquired right away, considered it & then purchased the land. They built their dream retirement home & as they fell in love with the area, so did their kids (us)! Another uncle & aunt fell in love too & moved down the road also!
We can say that we've each raised our kids here in the summers & throughout the year - grandchildren & now great children too. Each visit to see grandpa & grandma, & even now without them, we ALL just love it here. It is almost magical at how relaxing it is, watching the water, wildlife, boating, swimming, kayaking, kids paying in the water at low tide, fishing (trying to at least!) etc. We just hope you can feel & experience what we do when we visit!

It's just relaxing & so darn beautiful! We know this is home to us & hope you feel what WE FEEL too!
