Beautiful Home
We had a great stay here recently. Our group of 8 ranged from young kids to grandma and everyone was comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out. A few of the rooms have had their furniture updated to more modern styles since the listing photos were taken and the master bedroom now has a king size bed. Between the huge eat in kitchen, screen porch, finished basement (the kids loved playing ping pong), and two living rooms, we were all able to find a quiet place to relax or meet in small or large groups with no trouble. The house was well maintained and we appreciated the owner labeling things he anticipated guests wanting to know - closets with extra bedding, beach towels, etc. The house is nicely decorated, but in a way that didn't require the parents to run around and frantically move a bunch of fragile knickknacks out of kid range. The kitchen is well stocked if you're planning to cook during your stay.
The area is beautiful, we enjoyed the woodsy vibes and we spotted deer, a variety of interesting birds, frogs, and fish on our stay. The beach is sandy but a little rocky (water shoes recommended) but a great size and depth for kids, and the walk from the house was short. We didn't make it to the clubhouse pools or restaurants but everything we did see was well maintained and staff were friendly. The owner was helpful and responsive when we had questions.
