Cozy Lake Home with stunning view of Round Lake

This beautiful cabin has a specular view of Round Lake with 160 feet of Lake shore that offers 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, dishwasher, two refrigerators, washer and dryer, air conditioning, DIRECTV, outside fire pit, deck with gas grill, large yard, dock, swimming area, swim raft, and a 2021 pontoon for rent by day or week.

This private, four-bedroom cabin has a fully equipped modern kitchen that is stocked with cookware and appliances seating up to 6 people.

You can sit and relax in the sitting area with a panoramic view of the lake or go outside and enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck watching the beauty of nature. On the main floor it is furnished with sofas, a recliner, card table and satellite TV. The ground level offers a living room with a couch, fold out couch, satellite TV and walks out to the fire pit with picnic table and custom-made chairs.

Outside you can enjoy the expansive yard, fire pit, picnic table or relax on the dock, play on the swim raft, or spend the day on the lake. Round lake offers a sand bar that you can boat to or go fishing for one of the many different species that are offered, walleye, northern, crappie, sunnie, smallmouth bass and more. We do offer a pontoon for rent by day or week. During the winter you can enjoy snowmobiling from the trail system that is right out your door, ice fishing, mountain biking, shopping and many more things available in the area.

Sleeping arrangements: Eagle Trail Cabin: has four bedrooms with two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, one bedroom with two double beds and a fold out couch. There are also two bathrooms.

Our guests at Eagle Trail Cabin are perfectly set up to enjoy their vacation time both indoors and outdoors, in any weather. Enjoys games inside or outside, boating, kayaking, canoeing, or fishing for your favorite catch!

Round Lake is a great place to fish and explore, with a scenic shoreline with over 700 acres of water reaching a max depth of 125 feet.

When you’re not on the water, you can venture out into the surrounding area for golf, hiking, and shopping, mountain and trail biking, casino, and many restaurants. All within a 5-to-40-minute drive.

Family Holiday

Perfect cabin and area to spend a weekend with family. We ice fished on the lake, had a fire in the spacious and private back yard, and enjoyed food and games in the cozy house. I could see this being a fun place to stay in the summer too! Everything came as advertised and hosts were very responsive even in the "off-season".

This is a great home to experience a Minnesota summer. The house was very clean and well kept. It was perfect for a group and we loved being able to rent the pontoon that is stored on the property.

Clean, spacious, such a good time

As a family of five adults, this is a great place to stay. No surprises, very spacious, very clean. Fishing was great. We rented the pontoon which was so nice for relaxing tour around the lake or fishing. The hosts are great to work with and conveniently close by with their resort “just down the road”. Highly recommend this house!

Lake View

We had a girls retreat here and this location was perfect. The home is large enough to host all 11 of us and there was enough yard space for us to run around outside. The lake view was memorizing and I could hangout at the lake the whole day! The only downfall was the check out time at 10 AM. It would’ve made our experience better if we had a later check out rather than rushing to leave in the morning but overall, it was a great place.

Great Place for a Family Gathering

Our stay at the Eagle Trail cabin couldn't have been better. The cabin was recently remodeled and they did an amazing job. They created a space where with a lot of very comfortable seating. 12 adults can comfortably sit together and visit, play games or just watch TV. The kitchen is brand new and very well stocked. Paul & Therese were super nice and very helpful. The battery on our car died and Paul was there in minutes to give us a jump. We definitely plan on staying at the Eagle Trail cabin again.

Fabulous getaway!

Loved our stay at this great property. Super clean and up to date, including sheets, towels, dishes...everything! Needed some wine glasses but otherwise the kitchen was very well supplied with equipment and no messy leftovers from other renters. Nice! The huge flat lot was great for yard games, and the lake was shallow enough for the 4&6 year olds to play safely with their grown ups. Pontoon rental worked well, we only wish we had planned ahead to get kayaks loaned from the resort ahead of time so we knew we needed to haul them. Otherwise we loved this place!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We were last minute on deciding to find a cabin for a weekend getaway. Was at first hesitant of the place since we were looking for something away from the area, but with our limited options we went ahead and reserved with Therese. The place was nothing shy of being a cozy getaway cabin. The place looked like it was recently remodeled and had a nice clean smell to it. In the living room area, you get a whole panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding shoreline. I can only imagine how beautiful it will look like during the fall with the leaves transitioning their colors. The cabin was also decently isolated from traffic and provided the seclusion of being out in the wilderness. We had fished the lake and did not do too well, but that was probably because of our limitation to walking around the lake with the heavy snow. Overall, I was very satisfied with Therese and her husband hosting us. She was very accommodating and quick to reply to all my questions. Sorry we were not able to sign the guestbook. None of us had a pen. Thanks again for having us!

Ladies weekend

Our group have been getting together for a weekend away for many, many years. This was a wonderful weekend. The cabin was spacious, clean and wonderfully furnished. We very much enjoyed the quiet solitude with wonderful views of the lake -- it was too cold for swimming.

Our cabin was clean, easily found, on a beautiful lake, staff were very friendly, area finds were fun, and it was one of the best ones we've found yet. The cabin has been newly renovated and has everything you could want. Check-in was easy with anything you could need right there or a short trip into the close town of Deerwood is convenient or for bigger shopping and fun Brainerd is very close. The lake was beautiful with wildlife and fall leaves. Affordable and fun!

Beautiful. Photos don’t do the property justice. Mainly because the property is surrounded by trees adding to the already wonderful seclusion. The yard is huge and flat with an easy set of stairs to the dock. A flat yard is underrated and makes everything so much easier for kids and older folks. Lake was great. We used both boats with great ease. Fishing was good. Couple walleye, largemouth and pike. Infinite panfish for the kids. It rained a couple days but the house is so open and big that the kids just played games and entertained themselves (also smart TV). Top 3 VRBO all time.

Highlight of our summer

This is the 4th VRBO property we've stayed at and we think it is was the nicest, exactly what our family needed. We had a wonderful week. Made lots of special memories. Spacious home and outdoor space. Loved having main floor and basement lounging spaces. Pontoon was awesome. Grandkids loved fishing and jumping off swimming raft. Hope to stay there again.

Everything was great the host were very helpful. The house was very nice and remote. About .6 if a mile from county road 10. The dock was set to high making it harder to get in and out.

We keep busy during the summer running our Resort, Camp Holiday Resort & Campground. In the off season we love to hunt, ice fish and spend time with our children and grandkids.
